Bristow, Ok.
I have been a heavy smoker for 46 years. I didn't even realize how long it had been till I sat down today and counted it up.
I have tried many times to quit but I gained weight and went back to smoking. It was just too hard for me to quit. I tied everything. Then I heard about ecigarettes. I bought a smokeless delite. It gave me hope but wasn't the answer. After I found this forum I got a 510. Wow. I have real hope now. I bought some juice. I thought since I smoked light cigarettes I needed light juice. I was wrong. Then I went to 24. It still didn't keep the urge to smoke away. I was happy that I had cut down but I wanted to be smoke free. I ordered 36 but it wasn't the real deal. It was very week. I finally got some real 36. Now I have no urge to smoke at all. I lit a cigarette just to see if I was missng anything and I couldn't wait to put it out. I don't have the urge to snack either. I am so happy. I think I may even lose weight.

They weight loss thing is what I am looking forward to..since I don't smoke in my house, while I am studying my college crap, I would fix a bowl of popcorn, m&m's, or what ever I could get my hands on. Now with this e-cig thing, I don't have to snack..just sit down with a glass of tea and little smoke juice and vape away....glourious.
Congrates on finding something that works for you. I know I have sliced my habit from a a pack a day to 5...and working on cutting that down to 1 if any.

Congrats stormy!! From experience the first step was the hardest, made easier by the ever improving technology of e-cigs. My long term plan is to gradually reduce my nic intake to zero, a forseeable future for the first time in 18 years. Stick with it, a pretty steep learning curve at first but you`ve got all the help you need on this forum :)

It was so easy for me. Just getting the right ecig and the right juice and enough batteries. My husband says he can't do this because it makes him cough. I don't know what he is doing wrong.

It`s not for everyone , but has hubby tried the non PG liquid? Johnsons Creek offer an alternative so maybe he`s allergic to PG, my Dad was the same and he gets along with this. Intellicig also offer what they call Ecopure (again with non PG) I`ve just ordered some so I can`t give comment as of yet

Really nice to see someone quit. I wish you the best. I had to start out at 36 my self.

Welcome to vaping stormy! I may ultimately quit vaping but for now I'm enjoying the PV's. And for sure this forum is priceless when it comes to information and also good for more than a few laughs!

Oh yes.........I was a smoker for 46 years until two weeks ago today.

My intention was to wean off of the ciggies, but lo and behold, I did not want a cigarette after I tried my Vapor King. Had 6 cigarettes left the day my Vapor King arrived, and that was the end of it.

I was shocked to think that all those years trying to quit and being miserable along with gaining weight that this e-cig came into my life and I quit cigarettes just like 'that'. No withdrawal, I'm pleasant to be around and....ah well, you all know the benefits..........

I am so grateful that a friend introduced me to vaping!

Congrads for being off the analogs. I guess everyone is different on what it takes to feel comfortable. I got some Medium (11mg) juice from myvaporstore, and it about knocks me out if I take the type of drag I see in most of the videos. I was a 1 1/2 pack a day menthol light smoker for about 35 years.

I have a 901, and this thing gives me all the vapor I want,,, but I love it!! I'm not analog free just yet, but I will be!!

Great Stormy

I quit after smoking for 35years and I tried everything!!!! It took about a week for me. I would bum one every once in a while, but they taste so nasty!!!

My son and husband always hated riding in the car with me,and I always smoked in the basement or outside now I can puff away anywhere. I love it.
