Yeah I know what you mean. I bummed a Swisher Sweet yesterday. I knew it was a mistake the first draw I took. It tasted really bad and I got a little dizzy. The way I look at it I'm not a failure I realize now that my vapor is the way I'm going. That was the first tobacco product in 2 weeks so the vapor is working to get me rid of cigs for life. You know I've had people offer me a cig at work and this is the first time I've turned them down.

Christie, I'm with you on this. I've been vaping for all of two weeks; analogs are still in the picture and will be for some time.

Here's what I've noticed thus far: part of the emotional umbilical to analogs that I can't cut all the way through is my middle finger-jerk defiance of all the social pressure to march in anti-smoking lockstep (especially when in comes in the form of de facto prohibition, i.e., prohibitively high taxation). I may love vaping, but a voice inside accuses me of surrendering my will when I do so.

If, however, I look at vaping as a separate entity--something I've found that I like to do, but unrelated to smoking--inner serenity returns. I allow my balance of vaping/analoging to go where nature takes it. To wit, what that has meant is that I'm smoking about half the number of analogs as I was two weeks ago.

And my manhood is intact.
