Hi, I've just joined the forum and have one must know question. I am a total convert to vaping and will never smoke a cigarette again. The ejuice that I have been enjoying is a 50/50 PG and VG mix. There is just one problem. Everytime I start puffing in the house or the car my girlfriend complains that it gives her a headache. She tells me that she has exactly the same reaction when there is a smoke machine in a nightclub. Can anyone tell me if smoke machines use a PG or VG type base so that I can identify the culprit. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Fog - not smoke - machines use PG liquid. So it could be that.

There is also a certain subset of the population who only have (alleged) vaping related symptoms such as a nagging (and I really do mean nagging) cough, headache etc. - if and only if they actually see someone vaping. Funny how that works...

I think I have a variant of that. Although my symptoms are usually about my bladder whenever I walk the dog.

I thought they used VG. Looks like I've got some more reading to do..

You know, I read some posts here a while back that described such occurances, and I found it hard to believe. Then once I was standing outside a store (more than 15 ft. away from the door too!). An older couple was walking to the store and the lady started to choke and cough when I toked. I hadn't even exhaled yet..

Think I'll put my crash helmet on next time I run that one past her.

A lady was looking at herself in the mirror. She said, "Hon, do you think I should lose a few pounds?" He said, ''Well, your eyesight is just perfect."

Ha, yes, I did suggest to my girlfriend that her reaction to water vapour was, in all probability, psychosomatic. Think I'll put my crash helmet on next time I run that one past her.

We are all pro Vaping, but the expression "water vapour" is one we should be careful using. It accounts for about 2/3rds of the aerosol. The rest is PG, Nicotine etc.

That's interesting, I always assumed that the reason restaurants, airports ect barred vaping was because they didn't want to spend time policing if people were smoking or not. I guess that secondary vaping is potentially more intrusive than than I had imagined. As for the crack about ladies who need to lose weight, I'm not sure if I want to respond to that one as it seems way off topic. Well, OK, I will say this. My girlfriend told me that she wanted to lose a few pounds of ugly fat but I persuaded her not to leave me. Boom boom.
