Smoke or vapor alarm?

My son was buggin the c*ap outta me about my E cig and the vapor - so today I boldly told him that I would prove to him that it is vapor and not smoke. Took a deep pull off my KGO 1100mah with a CE4 and JC Red Oak Tennessee and blew the vapor right into the smoke alarm. Dang thing went off.............and I am like WT? We know it is not smoke or that is what I have been told. So the smoke alarm is really a smoke/vapor alarm? Any thoughts?

Kinda worries me now since I vape at work - 100% VG and I blowing out plumes.....

there are two different types of smoke alarms on the market
one detects smoke by detects the particle of smoke in the air,these are the ones that usually go off when you burn food

second one uses a light beam to detect actual smoke in the air,bugs crawling around in there can set it off too.this is the type you are using.

go get the particle detector type and that won't happen again

i've been able to set mine off with deep breaths P.O.S. dont try the monoxide alarm, bad breath from a distance will send that into a tizzie.
do the blowing the smoke and vapor through a white t-shirt trick, helped me convert my inlaws, or next time take the battery out

Do you know what type they use in airplane lavatories? I know that many vapers like to stealth vape in there, especially when the airline has prohibited vaping onboard during flight.

I don't know about smoke alarms, but I wasn't allowed to give my mother lip. and I'm now 58 and I still would never do it. I think I'd tell son I'm the mom and that's that!

I tell ya - this new generation is something else. But to be honest he just wants me to be nico free.....BTW - I am the dad not the mom - lol............

oops, lol, it is hard to tell gender by the user names, myself included. I understand he wants you to be nic free, but I wouldn't let him harass me
