Anyone use smoke tip? Just wondering if it is worth it to switch to V4L Vapor King. I have been contemplating it. I have a Birthday coming up and I am wondering if it is worth making the jump to Vapor King so I dont make a bad decision in wasting my birthday gift on a product that is about the same as my current one. I am using all the components that come in the start up kit, but I have the chrome batteries and a passthrough. Worth The Jump? I refill carts so the juice that comes in the cart is not an issue.

I have the Smoke Tip starter kit. After finding out that V4L was a compatable KR808D-1 system, I decided to order some charing gear and carts from them. The charging gear works fine and is less expensive than ST's, but... V4L didn't have the carts that I ordered (this was not indicated online) so they shipped me some 'others' that they had. None of the ones they sent were at the strength I ordered (18mg). They were all either 8 or 11mg in an random assortment of flavors I don't even have a desire to try.
I filed a complaint with them and they sent me an email asking what they could do. I told them to either send me what I ordered or refund my money if they can't. I got no reply.

Since the SmokeTip and V4L are kr808d-1 models, you can just keep the SmokeTip batteries and try some of the V4L stuff. The only thing about SmokeTip is that their batteries are automatic. Many people may start out with automatics, but most switch to manual fairly quickly. But, you can easily buy supplies for the kr808d-1 from other vendors.
Lots of us use Vapor4Life. And I have never had a problem with an order. They do often toss a couple of free cartos in with an order. I think their spring sale is still on today - code SPRING25 for 25% off
I think you should add V4L stuff to what you own. Smoketip is the same model. But I think Smoketip only uses shorty auto batteries? Is that right? Vapor4Life has standard length batteries that last 60% longer than shorties and make a 120mm ecig w/ the carto. They also have xl batteries but those don't fit in the PCC. I recommend manual batteries - harder for a juice leak to kill manuals and I think manuals are less work. Vapor4Life cartos are soft-cap and easy to add juice to.

I can tell you that with ST, at least you will never have an issue with customer service and they will replace any dead batteries no matter what.

I appreciate that you have had good luck with V4L. But the didn't throw in a few extras with my order, the substituted my order with stuff I didn't want. I don't want lager or cappacino flavored carts. My original order was for 5 of a tabacco and 5 of a menthol flavor in 18mg strength. All the stuff they sent me was 8 or 11 mg strength. Then they threw in some juices (again in flavors and strength I don't care for). In fact two of the juices have the exact same label on them, but one is dark amber and the other clear. That alone makes me think that these are returns or rejects that they can't sell.
Here is the analogy I sent them on my second reply:
You go to the store to buy a can of corn. After you pay for it, you are given a can of low sodium peas. And to 'make up' for it, they also give you a dented can of asparagus. Now would you be okay with that?
Since this was my first order with them and their CS emails keep asking 'What can we do?" I'm a bit leery of doing any further business with them.

I also have never had an issue with V4L customer service. I had a dead battery once, and they didnt just send me a replacement, they sent me 2. I am not doubting you have had issues, because there are always instances of issues, no matter how good a company might be, but I would say that you should not let it deter you from trying them again. I find the strenght thing really odd though, because while other companies that send samples always send the same exact same strength, any extras I have gotten from V4L have been the exact strength of whatever juice I happen to be ordering, so it seems odd to me that if sending some sort of "similiar" juice to replace one they were out of, they would not send the right nic strength. The whole thing seems really weird. As for the different colored juice, I get that form many different companies. The exact same juice (or labeled the same) will be vastly different in color.
its a mixed bag from what i see with v4l, i see lots of complaints, and lots of praise. i think i might have ordered from them 1 time many moons ago, and im pretty sure i got what i ordered, so no complaints here.
Cool, thanks guys. After careful consideration I have decided to stick with my smoke tip batteries and passthrough. I get loads of vapor off them and like the fact that they have good customer service, and a warranty. I will however definitely order some of the cartos from V4L because of the soft tip (thanks for clearing that up dormouse). Got 4 bottles of juice on the way from them and I will let you all know if there are any big problems. I am presently using the carto condom method and I freakin hate it. anyone know where to find any soft caps, not cartos, just the caps? I thought about making some out of some rubber but that could be a pain. That sucks about your bad experience who dat, I have not heard many complaints about V4L yet, but that is by far the worst. I would be Mad as hell. I will not let that deter me however because I have bought juice there before and have not been disappointed yet. Kamel Nobacco is tha bomb!!
I've bought from both companies and have no compliant about either company. My Mom has a kit from Smoke Tip and V4L.
She had a battery die from both kits and both were replaced no questions asked.
To me, and this is just my experience trying them both (I don't own either one) the draw on the V4L is somewhat easier than the Smoke Tip. It is definitely easier with the manual KR808 from V4L than the Smoke Tip. But if your happy with the performance, you can't beat a lifetime warranty on batteries! And the V4L cartos do fit the Smoke Tip.
I go through ST for my batteries and get my cartos and stuff from v4l. I swear that sometimes my automatic ST battery packs a better hit than my manual passthrough, I can't recommend them highly enough and their customer service is awesome.
I'm sorry about the crappy experience with v4l. On my last order with them they happened to be out of the particular carto color sampler I wanted so they sent me 2 extra boxes of blanks, like $20 worth of merchandise, for free. It sucks to see that there's been negative experiences.
