This may be a dumb question, but what is really the difference between smoke and vapor?
Okay, so I get the obvious stuff like an analog has thousands of carcinogenics and poisons, whereas an e-cig basically consists of vg/pg, water and nicotine... But if I compare the two, here's what's going on (as far as I know):
- An analog turns solids into gas by reaching a certain temperature high enough to make this possible.
- An e-cig turns liquid into gas by reaching a certain temperature high enough to make this possible.
Although the atomizer probably doesn't get as hot as an actual flame, what makes vapor healthier in comparison to smoke, besides the deadly additives that comes with cigarettes? How is smoke not legal but vapor legal? Why does the smell of smoke linger but not vice versa?
ALSO, while I'm on this topic, people say that the vapor you exhale is simply water vapors. Seeing as how the water is a small part of the e-liquid mixture, what about the other stuff that gets vaporized? Does the body simply absorb the vg/pg base?
Thanks y'all.
