I am trying to keep up on this site but all the abbreviations and different models it is making me dizzy! I started vaping with inferno kit that my daughters got me for fathers day. I put down the cigs immediately and have not turned back. I was pack and a half a day smoker of Newport, not an easy task but this way is great. I tried to chew the gum and the patch along with a pill but nothing worked until now. I love using the drip tip but I am not too happy with the tank setup I have for when I am driving. I fill those tips up. I was looking at those big clear tanks for this, any thoughts. Looking for alternative to those little tanks you put in the tip.

I'm not familiar with your setup, but I'm sure someone will be along soon who can help you....

I just wanted to say congrats and welcome :) It's totally confusing when you're getting started and so overwhelming. Everyone goes through it, but once you experiment with a few different things, you'll find yourself becoming an expert. Good luck!

i smoked for 25 years, and have been tobacco free for 16 days.

i like the vision / stardust long wick tanks ... if you are careful with filling, they will not leak. it sounds like you have the ego-t tanks, the capsule tanks with the pointy sharp atomizer in the cone thing. i HATE those. more trouble than they are worth imho.

my clearomizers hold 1.6ml (1.8 if you push it), are consistent on my kgo batteries, and havent leaked yet. they do tend to burn through the juice a little quicker than dripping however.

Congratulations!!! This is a huge step for a 20 year smoker!

If you're serious about never going back, I would recommend a feeder mod. They are a little more pricey, but they are very low maintenance and easy to use(good for driving). The one I'm currently using is the Reo Grand from reosmods.com.

And remember, now that you're tobacco free you aren't limited to just tobacco flavors. Raspberry, banana, kiwi, and vanilla coffee are some of my personal favorites.

I know all the technical terms and lingo can get daunting, but there are some awesome people on this forum that are more than happy to answer all your questions :) Good Luck!

I agree with mikegetz. I've also tried vision clearomizers on another ego c like battery and they perform pretty solid. Good luck!

Check out the phoenix(ce3) from gotvapes. It holds 1.5ml, doesn't leak and you can see how much juice you have. If you want to hold more, get the vivi nova. It holds 3.5ml, is clear, doesn't leak and is rebuildable. Those aren't disposable so it's less cost down the road.

Well done, Well done, you should start to feel better and better. I gave up a 45 year + habit of cigs and cigars, and vaping has been the only thing to really work, I simply no longer miss the tobacco, which still amazes me. I have been off the tobacco for 1+ years or so, and have been delighted to discover I can walk, work. play without coughing, wheezing or feeling generally run down. I breath deeper and freely and have recently discovered I don't even need to take my vape kit along with me for short hops away, I am content to get home and vape when convenient. I will probably drop my nic level from 18mg to 12 mg shortly with the hope of one day vaping 0. I think, much of my addiction was ritual, and the vape kit has replaced it nicely. Again good luck and well done.
