Well, I just had my first cigarette in nearly a week. Seems my latest batch of eliquid is making me really tired. I mean really tired, I've slept most of the day. And everytime I vape it I just want to go back to sleep. It looks like I might have to buy a batch from my previous source since I had no such symptoms before.

The cigarette was disgusting. Of course, I just learned about FSC cigarettes and sure enough on the pack it has FSC. Never realized I'd been smoking FSC cigs since Jan of this year. I can see why they did it. Who would want to start smoking them now? And if you continue the fire ......ant they're putting in them is going to kill you quicker. Coincidentally (rolls eyes) I developed some respiratory problems around Jan/Feb that resulted in mild pneumonia when I got the flu back in March. Makes complete since now. If you won't quit, might as well kill you sooner so society doesn't have to treat you later. What a world we live in.

I understand perfectly, Shai. I've slipped a few times myself but I find analogs disgusting now, even the smell of someone else's. Just hang in there until you get some different juice and try again.
If I remember correctly, the tiredness could also be from withdrawal from all the junk in the analogs. It passes after your body becomes adjusted to the switch.
Best wishes and please don't give up!

By any chance was your other juice mostly VG and the juice that is making you tired mostly PG? I've got a post running around here about what I thought was PG making me feel wore out/tired. No one seemed to know what I was talking about as I recall. I'll try to find it and link it.

I get this - it turned out to be my Thyroid - smoking can mess it up, and apparently NOT smoking can also mess with it.
I started meds before I started vaping but stopping smoking screwed taht up and my meds had to be adjusted (I now take less overall hoorah!) but it gave me UNREAL tiredness.
Now my thyroid swings back n forth between hyper (too much) and hypo (not enough, and this is where the tiredness comes from).
I also self-medicate with coffee as it helps.
If you haven't had a thyroid scan done, get it checked; especially if you are female.
I've learned since that smoking can mess with ALL hormones, of which thyroid is just one.

My previous juice was 100% PG. This current juice is 80%PG/20%VG. I don't think it's that. I'm feeling better. I'm still smoking the current juice although I did stop using a certain flavor. Perhaps it was that. I don't know.

When I quit smoking my thyroid went to crud too, have to take meds for it now. Tired, draggy, or just plain wore out. Thought I just had housewife full time mom syndrome but nope was the thyroid. I've lost about 13lbs now that i've started meds for it in like a month and a half. So I agree that if people start having hard to explain symptoms such as lack of energy, irritation, depression, or weight gain they should get their thyroid checked.

The only time I had ever quit in my adult life was a 1 & 1/2 years ago for 3 months. I came back and my usual brand had went fire safe, Marlboro Light 100s. Horrible taste! I continued to smoke them though, being addicted like I was. I then found a cheap brand that still hasn`t gone FSC. They were very much like MLs before they went FSC. I still can`t help but wonder what chemical they added to them to make them FSC. Anyone know? But whatever it was made this 25 year smoker of them change brands due to the taste.

As to the OP I agree that quitting smoking is likely the cause of being tired.

FSC is a main reason I went to vaping. I believe there is a study out there that show the FSC cigs put out more VOCs and carbon monoxide among other things. So you're definetely right about them making you sick. They made me feel like crap after smoking one.

It seems like the gov't is trying to railroad smokers... Either get them to quit or just keep chipping away at smoker's rights until smoking becomes banned altogether. At this point I could care less... Time to go electronic.

PG & Glycerol. Here is a link Ingredients by Brand - Philip Morris USA
It's a real eye opener:blink:
Oh and to the OP. Don't beat yourself up over having a analog. Did it myself till about two months ago.
