unfortunately, that is not the thought process here in the states. a sneaky bit of bush's last power would give the right to a pharmacist or a doctor to not provide a woman with birth control if said doc/pharmacist didn't believe in it. Could you imagine walking up with a prescription and being told you would have to get it filled somewhere else because the pharmacist doesn't fill prescriptions for such things?

Kate, I think Nuck is just being insensitive to others feelings. Both topics are very strong issues. I don't think we should try to offend anybody on this forum. A little fun here and there I think is okay, but when things begin to get hurtful to even one person, then apologies must be said and the offender should back it down. Some people have to be practically hit over the head to see that they have gone too far.
It is my belief that this is not a forum to make anyone feel uncomfortable or bad. If someone is crossing that line they should be called out and back off.
I was not trying to offend anyone with my response to Nuck, except maybe Nuck for that comment regarding the cheerios association. If I did offend anyone, please accept my apologies.

Could you please quote where I made the link between homosexuals and pedophiles? Should be interesting unraveling the Kate logic that led you to such an interpretation.
It's only clear to someone in the market to be offended. If you can't see the sarcasm dripping in that statement you have worse issues than being easily offended.

I happen to find me hilarious. I also have a hard time taking self-righteous bullies all that serious. Perhaps you can find someone new to the internet to crusade against. You might have better luck.
