Hello,

I'm hoping to get some advice from members who may have made the same switch. Twice, I've purchased Joytech eGo products and I enjoy the option of multiple flavors, but then I get very very nervous about the liquid. For both my safety and the safety of my dog I worry about accidental direct exposure to the nicotine liquid.

The Smokestik pre-filled cartridges are very appealing and I'm curious what experiences people have had with them. Have you ever had one leak? Do you have to worry about the angle when using or does the liquid really stay sealed? I'm aware of the extra cost of the cartridges, that I *could* refill them, and limited flavors, but the piece of mind is worth the extra money to me.

If you've switched from refillable cartomizers to sealed cartridges I'd also love to hear your opinion in general on the experience of using each.

Thanks!

if your worried about your safety, its not a serious problem. i wouldnt drink it, but i regularly get it all over my hands -24 to 18 mg when rebuilding and light exposure to vape strength liquid is pretty harmless.

I wouldnt want to see the pet eat it but if it burns like when we get it in our mouths i would imagine they would stop pretty quick.

a) Never heard of Smokstik before...but it's a common looking site.
b) The model with that kind of site is to get you buying their cartridges if they can - which usually is going to cost roughly TEN TIMES as much as it would refilling something from a bottle of liquid.
c) Just take precautions - fill whatever you fill (cartridges, clearomizers, whatever) carefully - then store the juice somewhere pooch can't reach

Thanks for the replies.

I can certainly make it more difficult for my dog to get into it. The reason I feel Smokestik would be less likely for him to get into is because it is something I could put in my pocket and carry with me. Something I can't do with the eGo.

A few years ago I wouldn't be worried at all, but I have developed an irrational fear of certain things. It of course does not scare me into quitting smoking, but it does make me worry about other things (I do know how ridiculous that sounds). Not having to deal with the liquid at all would be one less thing, but if the Smokestik cartos leak or can drip then I might as well fill my own.

you can get tanks and such for the ego that are pretty close to leakproof and can be carried around just fine, some are even steel and pyrex glass and would be pretty hard to chew on.

the standard clearos are ok but there are some it takes a lot to get them to flood. there are many more devices for an ego class battery even cartos

I have 13 dogs and if I left it so they could get to it they would eat it. I keep it on a shelf beside my chair when I am home out of reach to them. All of my vaping supplies stay in a tackle box. I call it my smoke box....haha With either one you decide on your still going to have to keep it away from your dog. Ego makes a lanyard to wear around your neck you could purchase one of those if you decide on an ego.
