I wouldn't buy either of those as neither stack up to the better PV's. For a new person, I would suggest a better battery PV (personal vaporizer) such as the Riva or eGo 510 and only with manual batteries. If you continue to vape, you will end up wanting something much better, more consistent, more control and longer battery life, anyway.

Thanks wv2win, but sorry but I'm only interested in the two piece/cartomizer technology...not interested in three piece technology...Regards, Joe
I'm with you Joe. I like the EGO but am still looking for the ultimate two piece. I just got a Bloog today and am hoping it lives up to its promise. We shall see.

The CoV Ego kit comes with an 808/901 adapter so that you could use 808D-1 cartos and you could also use the 510 cartos on them. No need for it to be just a 3 piece. Please correct me if I'm wrong since I'm going to have my gf order one as her starter kit because of the adaptability factor (meaning I can use it to experiment across the board :2cool:)

Joe, I started with a SmoleStik in Sept, and I am still using it. As far as there cartomizers are concerned:1) They are great cartomizers; they don't burn when they get low like some others2) The e-liquid in them are great especially the menthol 3) they are refillable, even though they won't tell you that. SmokeStik is a quality company and their customer sevice is second to none. I don't know anything about Greenworld, and so I cannot comment. SmokeStik has a forum on this site, but you may have to have 15 posts to comment on it.

I highly recommend SS, and I too prefer two pieces. PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks sherid, I will check out info on the Bloog...I hope it works out great for you!

I've been through most e-cig models out there, and HIGHLY recommend the Smokestik. They share the 4081 spec, but ends there. Smokestik is in control of the internal design and manufacture of both their batteries, and cartomizers.

The new SS Pitbull boasts an 280mAh battery, is extremely well made, and functions well... Worth looking into, and considering for sure IMO..

Thanks Player30, I'm really leaning towards the SmokeStik and it doesn't hurt that Katherine Heigl uses it also :)

I like the idea that they don't burn when they get low and they create great vapor and the cartomizers last a long time.

Regards, Joe

Awesome information Technonut...Thank you!!!...Do you know if all the batteries are all the same weight? Wondering if the Pitbull is a heavier battery....Like the idea of keeping it as light as possible but its not a show stopper...Thanks again!

Joe, I don't know the answer to that, but I would assume it's a little heavier and I know it is longer. I am planning on buying one with my next order. The ones I have now fit very comfortably in my hands, and I tend to keep one in my hand even if I am not vaping! It is a high quality product. If SS is what you order, you need to order extra cartos. I go through two a day and my husband goes through one every two-three days. They are very easy to refill, and if you decide to do that, I will be glad to recommend a high quality juice that resembles the SS flavor.

Thanks again Player30....Awesome info and even though I thought I'd never want to refill I will probably be looking for you when I do...many Regards, Joe

Joe, although I am a big fan of 2 piece models and disposable cartomizers, you might want to rethink never refilling. I buy pre-filled cartomizers, but I also buy great liquids from Backwoods Brew. I do that so that I can get some much better tasting liquid added to what the already filled cartomizers have. I simply drip through the battery end when the vapor gets lower and the taste loses its punch. It extends the life of the cartomizers by some time, and it is fun to have those extra flavors. I do not buy blank cartomizers because despite all of the filling methods described on this board, I never seem to get it right.

You can buy cheap rn4081 cartomizers (5 for $5.80) that fit a SmokeStik at azsmokefree.

You can but fairly cheap 510 cartomizers at many, many vendors for an ego if you want to go with a big battery or a mod. You can thus have a 2 piece design and still long battery life.

If you like rn4081/SmokeStik cartomizers you can also buy a simple adapter for a couple of dollars that will let you use then on an ego or other 510 threaded pv's
