Hey guys I just wanted to share my experience with you all. I have taken quite a liking to my natural. Last night I decided to take it apart and sand all the contacts which were indeed a beautiful brass under the chrome plating 
I have no idea why anyone would cover such a nice material with chrome dip (only thing i can think is to prevent corrosion)
Today I bought myself a new can of Eagle One nevr-dull from my local auto parts store. I got this thing looking really great! Ill post pics later but I will tell you this stuff has worked great for me for many year on many projects. No different with this one. The wading turned quite black so I suspect they don't really clean these things in china. Do yourself a favor and pick up some nevr-dull it does wonder on almost all kinds of medal. Didn't polish it to a mirror finish just cleaned it up and added a bit of sparkle.
