smoketech redux not working

I just got my smoketch redux in the mail, filled it up hit the fire button and nothing happened. Can someone help me I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm using a knock off ego 1200 vv battery set at 3.7 and also tried 5.2 if that helps. Do I need a separate atomizer to use these? I thought it was built in. I have 2.5 ohm replacement heads should I be using those instead of the 1.8 ohm head that came with it?

Dry off your positive post with a q-tip on the battery, make sure no liquid is in there for an easy visual inspection. See if its punched in farther than it ought to be. If that looks good and you happen to have a multimeter, check the ohmage of the clearo.

It sounds almost like your clearo isn't making good contact with the battery to me though. After the battery is dryed off and looks good (Insulated washer intact etc) go ahead and thread the clearo in. If it still wont fire try tightening it a tiny bit at a time until it does. Keep the battery at 3.7 and don't up the volts until you get it working and want to adjust the flavor/vapor.

Hi! Yes,,, follow everything above and, what happened to mine was I had to pull the connection out a bit.... Just you tube how to fix non firing clearo, and it will show you how... You just have to pull it down a tiny bit.

Thanks for the quick response. I did what you said and everything looks good battery was dry and not pushed in too far. Still nothing. I put my smoktech ego mega dual coil back on and its working fine

Any suggestions on voltages this is my first lr clearo, don't want to ruin my battery or clearomizer

Also im getting more dry hits than good hits am I doing something wrong?
