I managed to make a u wick with 325 stainless steel mesh and spaced coil with 28 gauge wire 4 wraps on a Fogatti clone I am new at this it seems like it is working accept I get smokey flavor from my fruity e juice. I feel like it is from wire mesh that has been oxidized by burning it with a torch . Everybody talks very highly about wire mesh as far as flavor goes am I doing something wrong? I had never done coil building before please help...
