After quitting smoking and now vaping do people prefer to go to their old smoking bars or does the smoke bother them enough to move to a smoke free bar.For me going to restricted/non smoking bar would not be the choice, but I must say a few smoking dungeon caves now bother me with too much smoke in the air.A hypocrite for sure I am ,was just wondering what others like.

For me, IL is a non smoking state, so I really dont have to worry about it too much. While the smoke certainly does bother me at times now, I cant say that I would not utilize an establishment because there was smoking allowed, I would just limit my time there.

The one thing I cant stand anymore is the smoking cages at International Airports (Popular in Germany and Europe) You can smell them a mile away, and all those smokers crammed in looking like caged animals at the zoo just irks me to no end! I used to search those things out when I was on analogues, but hated having to work a flight with my uniform reaking of an ashtray.

Things have certainly changed!

Walking by a smoker, getting a whiff of the stale smoke on their clothing. Ughhh. I think it stinks! (It still freaks me out that I smelled like that for all those years and didn't think I did!!).

Oddly, it doesn't bother me if someone smokes one near me though. I don't want one when I smell it. I'd rather not be stuck inside a smoke box at an airport, but if that was the only option for vaping, I'd go for it. Beats a bathroom stall!

i think i would go to the place with the active smokers. since i started i have been a walking advertisement for e-cigs. i carry business cards of the merchants i use to hand out. only a small percentage of Americans know anything about e-cigs beyond the occasional radio ad, or seeing a mall kiosk. and if i can steer them in a better direction and avoid the kiosk or the ad, then they wont make the same mistakes i did. i look at them as future vapers.

NJ is another state where smoking is totally banned indoors. They've recently ammended the law so that ecigs are banned as well, which is pretty damn stupid. There are a couple bars I frequent that have given me permission to use my ecig despite the law, which is nice. Every time I go out, I carry several good-ecig.info cards and always end up handing out a few.
