So, yesterday was 3 weeks I quit smoking lame cigarettes and started vaping. Couldn't have done it with out my joye ego=)

Thanks man, for the first week until I got me ego I used my joye 510 with 36mg. I thought that the ego wouldn't be as good but it was better. When I got it I dripped my 36mg malboro flavor juice that I got from vapordogs.com and it worked amazing for me. I don't even wana look at old played out tobbacco cigarette again. I went from 2 packs a day straight to the ecig and didn't pick up a cig since

I didn't really look into tht mega stuff I'm actually lookin into drip tips to make my life a million times easier but thanks for bringing it to my attention ill look tht up thanks for the support man

What do you mean by mega cartomizer? What about mega atty? Mega cartomizer is the cartomizer or there is something bigger then a cartomizer? Can you post some links? I just got my eGo yesterday and I can confirm that is just amazing.
The only thing is that I have to refill the cartridge pretty often. I put 2 drops in the cartridge and is full. I did remove the thing inside the cartridge for the first time... I dropped like 8 drops in the empty cartridge, after that I put the thing back into the cartridge and 3 more drops. It was full with juice but I would say after 20 puffs I had to refill. I am not taking out the whole thing now... I just put there like 2-3 drops of juice since the thing seems to still have juice in it but when I puff I do not get enough vapor
I hope you understood what I am saying here. How do you refill your cartridge and how often? How many drops to get it filled?

Here is a regular ego cartomizer, a mega cartomizer, and a mega atty.
As you can see the megas are just that....HUGE.
This fixed my problem of refilling over and over and over. And I have finally found the perfect setup for me

I too have had a great experience with the Joye eGo
I've been smoke free for a few months now and am very happy to be vaping.
Currently I'm using the eGo mega batteries, mega atomizer and mega cartridge
basically the whole ecig is larger and longer, the atomizer is far larger then a 510, and the vapor production is really great.
though, I didn't start out with an eGo, i started with M401 then went 510PT then to the eGo.
After the first few weeks of vaping, I realized there was no 900mah kit from the vendor that I purchase off (HG) at that time, so I picked out all the matching items individually; 2 fast usb chargers, 2 900mah batteries, 2 mega atomizers and two ego cones + 510 attys. It turns out to be not all that more expensive then a kit, and the little things that may not be included don't make up for having an extra charger, spare attys, and great batteries.
Just like the OP, I went from smoking (1P/D) to vaping as soon as I got my fist ecig ^_^

So you used to refill very often with the regular cartridges. My understanding is that the mega cartomizers and the mega atty are like one piece which includes both the cartridge and atty. Is that right?
No problem. I had such a hard getting a perspective of all this before I placed my first order. I figured I would take a picture to sum it all up. The middle setup is what I'm sold on right now.
Basically you just need a battery, a cartomizer, and some juice. Then you're vaping and vaping and vaping. For about $25 dollars shipped you have this setup without the juice. After I used my first mega cartomizer, I immediately ordered 10 more.
When I was using the regular atty/cartridge method (not pictured) I was refilling and leaking all day. With this it seems to last a very long time. A member here suggested it to me after I was complaining about constantly refilling. I'm so glad I took that advice. Best decision I've made all week. I hope this helps you out

Just ordered my mega carto and mega atty yesterday for my Joye EGO. Also ordered Drip Tips. Trying to find the best way. Filling the carts all of the time and spilling fluid not a whole lot of fun. FM, how long are your Mega Cartomizer's lasting you. I'm not planning on cleaning them just throwing them away once they quit working properly. I'm guessing/hoping you can refill them a couple of times before discarding.

Last night I was vaping pretty heavily and the first one I filled lasted about three hours before I noticed a very slight change in taste. So I topped it off. It's still going this morning. Absolutely loving these things

I've not been using my mega carto alot but I've refilled it 3 or 4 times already and still works fine. You should easily get in several refills on them.
wow i really like the look of your set up. im using V4L setup, and sometime i dont like how it cuts you off after a few seconds and sometimes it doesnt..
Way to go on ditching the analogs! I did the same thing--once I started vaping, the nasty tobaccys were out the door. I did crave one for the first 2-3 days, but I never gave in and smoked one, and once I got past that point, there was no looking back. Yay for vaping!

Cartomizer = CARTridge+AtOMIZER in one piece. So you can't really compare the two as they are different pieces. You need either a cartridge and an atomizer or a cartomizer.

Most starter kits include only atomizers and carts (separately)

You can absolutely refill the mega cartomizers. Your mileage will vary. There are many factors
