Smoktech 2.0 ohm DC Cartomizer

Hey all!

I've been using a 3.5 ml tank that I purchased a couple of weeks ago. It came with 1.5 ohm DC cartomizers which were fine with my old battery, but I've since upgraded to a higher voltage battery.

My new Apollo can go up to 6 volts. I ordered a couple of 2.0 ohm DC cartomizers with the intent of jacking up the voltage, but should I?

It does seem to produce more vapor the higher I go. I've inched it up past 4.5 v for the first time.

I'm trying to be careful not to ruin my battery.

What voltages do others vape 2.0 ohm DC carts at?

Matt

I'm assuming you're talking about the Apollo Vtube and by ruining your battery, you mean asking it to produce too much current. What type of battery are you using? I'm thinking that device has a 2.5A limit and that is not asking much of a good hi drain 18650. If 18350, its going to be a little more of a strain.

If 2.5A is so, your device will limit your setup to 5V (meaning when you turn it up to 5.1-6) it will knock it back down to fire at 5V. That's about 6W per coil which is plenty safe for your carto. If this is a 4A device, then all that was pointless, bottom line, 5V should be fine for everything involved if using 18650!
