I just received my itaste mvp 2.0 and come to find out my smoktech aro 2 tank wont work with it? wth?! can someone help please? I really dont want to have to use the iclear30 that came with the itaste.
You might want to try pulling the pin down slightly on the aro so it making contact
Did your MVP come with an adapter? If so use it, if not you'll probably need one, ego to 510.
I had the original MVP and I had to buy an ego to 510 adapter to get certain tanks to fire. Some worked and others didn't but they all worked with the adapter.
with the aro 2 atached to your mvp, check the resistance - does it say 0.0(indicating a short), does it read a number, or does it just read "non"?
if it reads "non" your tank is not making contact with the battery, as some one mentioned try prying the pin on the tank out SLIGHTLY, if not possble attempt to SLIGHTLY pull the pin on the mvp battery.
Have you fired anything on the MVP? If so I guess you're stuck with the Iclear until you get the adaptor.
crashhat69 - the evod 2 and aro are not "working" because they arent making a connection with the battery.
if i can suggest it again - be careful doing so - try prying the pin up SLIGHTLY on the MVP.
take note - once the pin is up enough to make connection - putting your other tanks that DID work before hand on the battery, will push the pin back down.
i understand the issue completely - as i used to own a mvp and that was its one "weak point", the center pin length between many of my atomizers.
when using new equiptment - even old equiptment - you dont have to "screw your tank ALL THE WAY DOWN" , just enough that it creates contact with the battery. - trying to screw things down "all the way" is what causes these issues in the first place, and after a "long period" of the pin being squished on the oring - it naturaly just wants to stay squished.
when you check the resistance using the mvp, it gives away the problem - "NON" means the tank isnt making contact - THAT is the issue. weather it be the pin on the mvp squished, or on the tanks - the pins dont make contact.
when pulling the pin up on the mvp, it may seem like its not budging or moving any - hence why i said becarefull. there is a possibility of pulling the pin completely out, which can damage the battery if by accident you snap the wire thats soldered onto the pin.
