I have two Smoktech AROs and i like them, but lately they have been leaking a lot on the battery contacts. I have to keep blowing them out about once every couple hours. Sometimes more often. I noticed that the edges of the windows are not watertight. I don't see leaking form there, but if i put my mouth on the window on the side and suck hard, i can get juice in my mouth. Is this normal? I'm thinking the lack of a seal there may be negating the vacuum effect which coudl be causing the leaking on the battery. I was thinking about putting krazy glue around the edges of the windows to seal them. Has anyone else tried this? Does it work?

Since you're finding a way out for the juice through the windows, there's clearly a leak so it can't maintain the vacuum needed to prevent juice going down through the coil air passage. The inner glass should be a complete tube, it's not just a window pane, so I suspect it's developed a crack, maybe where it's sealed to the metal base. There's also two o-rings on the coil base that may have been damaged or gone missing, so check those.

Might be, too, that your coils are part of the problem. Too much flavor wick and you have to draw too hard, potentially pulling juice up the chimney, which then leaks down. Too little flavor wick, and it may just leak down through the coil.

Well, i see the two o-rings are still there. I can't see a crack, but if it was right next to where it's sealed to the base, i don't think i would be able to see it. One mod i did to it originally was to plug up one of the air holes as the draw was too light for me. I have dropped it a few times so i'm not surprised if there is a crack in it.

I'm not sure what you mean by the coils. I don't mod them. Are you saying i maybe just got some bad coils?

Yes, you'd need a really small inspection mirror to see that area! :)

Bad coils is a possibility, it happens. Seems to run in batches, from the reports around ECF. I rebuild all my clearos, which are "standardized" to kanger style single bottom coils, assorted brands. Smaller VV styles with a good topper make a good backup, or flavor change, when out and about.

Maybe pick up a new coil, so it's not from the same batch. If you still have leaks, I suspect its from stopping too suddenly after a drop

Thanks, i'll try a new coil. On a whim, i wrapped up the area around the windows with scotch tape and it seems to have helped.
