Smoktech clear dual coils cartomizer xxxl 510 issue.

Hi,
last week i got an order and i got some Smoktech clear dual coils cartomizer xxxl 510.
I use a madvapes vv mod set at about 3.7-4 volts and the carto dont seem to work properly, i mean i doesnt produce much vapor and throat hit.
Usually i use drip with a 306 lr atty and i get good vapor, good flavor and throat hit, but not with the cartos.
I would like to know why.

Test the resistance with a volt meter. It could be that one of the coil in the DC is not working. If it is sold as 1.6 ohms, then each coil is 3.2 ohms, and 3.2 ohms is not going to give strong vapor at 3.7V. I have had several DCCs that this has happened to.

Also make sure the connection is clean to the battery. Juice buildup can raise the resistance sometimes, but I would bet its a bad coil thing. If it is working properly you should get great vapor, but you may not get as much heat...its essentially two 3+ ohm coils, and TH can be related to the heat level.

You might consider getting Boge LR cartos. I like DCCs (have not used the clear ones, tho), but I tend to use LR single-coil cartos more. LEss flavor than DCCs, however. Flavor likes higher resistance. Heat and TH likes lower resistance.
