so im using a smoktech dct with a smoktech carto and ive been using the same carto for about 3-4 weeks now and the carto is beginning to have a relle tough draw and i get liquid in my mouth is it time to change the carto or does that mean theres a leak somewhere in the tubing/o-rings?

but do you guys think it could be caused by the tank itself as well? because i get a lot of saliva in my mouth now too that i wasnt getting before

If the air tube in the carto is blocked and you suck on it hard enough, the suction will let some liquid get into your mouth. I would change the carto and see how it goes.

I use many DCTs. I change cartos every two days give or take.

alright the last carto i had i didnt drop liquid into the top just filled the tank n sat it on its side i dont like to drip liquid into the pollyfill because it tends to just auto burn it i i find if i just fill the tank n let it sit it works good i just hope i dont burn out this carto its my last one =/

another thing is when i fill my tank theres a giant bubble at the top i dunno if thats also affecting me getting that burnt taste or not

Some get 2 weeks use of a carto in a tank. Never heard of 4. When a carto gets hard to drag and loses taste, time to replace the carto. But first check of the bottom cap is partially blocking a side hole in the carto. Also if you started using very thick high VG juice that could make it harder to drag.

To maximize carto life only use clear juices, not dark, cloudy or opaque juices that drop flavoring sediment in a carto. But no matter what juice you use eventually the coil(s) become coated with baked on juice and their ability to vaporize liquid degrades.

Be sure to give that carto a proper burial, it served you well.

You want to prefill the carto. There are many ways of doing it, and they all work just fine.
With a new carto, all you have to do is take the top cap off the tank, fill the tank 2/3 full, and put the cap back in the tank. This will create about the right amount of pressure inside the tank to fill a new carto with juice from the tank.
