Corn 'n' Cows
Good Afternoon KP! :D I am now eating lunch...Leftover roast. Yummmmmmmmy
Cut up the potatoes and carrots into small cubes, chop up half the leftover roast, add some of the broth the roast cooked in and fry it all up. Delicious!

Tomorrow I will be using the rest of the roast and broth along with wide egg noodles for the third meal from the roast. Cut up the rest of the roast (more like shredding) dump the liquid into a pot, add the meat then add uncooked pasta till the liquid just barely covers the noodles. Simmer till noodles are cooked to your liking and the starch from the pasta thickens the liquid.

Love this meal that makes three meals :D

I'm with you on that! I'll throw a roast in the crockpot - I can do just about anything (pork or beef, or even chicken) - enchaladas, "whatever" and noodles, sandwiches, chili.... Yes, MANY meals from one prep.... Good Stuff

Oh - here's a fav: Chicken, salsa (couple jars of whatever your favorite), small bag of frozen corn, can of black beans. Cook til you can shred the meat. Then, you have chili or melt some cheese in there for nachos, put it on rice or noodles or even a baked potato.... YUM

Sounds delicious! My boys won't eat leftovers, but I will ;)
The beef and noodles part, I think, would seem more like a "new" meal rather than leftovers. ;)

You might be able to sneak that in :D

There are not many things that I like leftover there are a couple though. This being a crockpot meal and a good three days worth of meals. It is definitely one of my favorite dishes to cook

For the 3rd meal sometime try this add the noodles, roast a can of mushroom stems and pieces to a crock pot reserve the mushroomliquid. next mix the mushroom juice with a can of cream of mushroom soup and a half a can of canned milk. add some parmesan cheese if you want salt and pepper pour over the roast and add just enough water or milk to barely cover. Cook for about 2 to 4 hours depending on the heat you use just check the noodles to see if its done.

Thank you! And congrats to all you other winners too! And GPC, he is! I was trying to win it so I can give him my mvp 3.0 since his istick is on the fritz. XD

Now..can anyone tell me if we have to buy the batteries for it? And if so, which ones should I get? And should I buy a charger bay for said batteries, or is the USB charging adequate?

Look at these threads to find the appropriate battery, a separate charger is highly recommended.

We just did that two days ago.... it will probably last for 2-3 more meals (which says a lot, considering how much my kids eat).

I would soooooooooooooo love that but alas, Mr. Robin does not like mushrooms :( I could do some on the side that way... hmmmmmm Now I am calculating. I have some dried Porchini mushrooms... Ohhhh baby! I see a new dish tomorrow for me!!

Morning Everyone. Was trying to play catch up in here but still have 160 post to go. so will check them later LOL

Yes I gotta say I've been blessed by this awesome community here at ECF and @BamaBabe4Ever why would you want to trade it looks like it's gonna be an awesome mod get it and try it out before you try getting rid of it lol

It's not ECF branded though :(

@ChiBear85 Yeah What @Asylumsix said. Loved that it had the ECF logo and was PRETTY. I will definitely be trying out the XCubeII. Just been getting a little hesitant because I have only used built in batteries. all the talk with loose batteries about making sure to get the right ones, and getting a married pair, hoping not to get Fakes, batteries blowing up, protected, unprotected has me a little nervous really. Have been checking out the battery guide thingie that I was linked to on here and researching what I can. So far I have narrowed it down that i should get the Samsung INR18650 25R
:confused::confused::confused::confused:
