I've wondered that myself According to Smokey Joe it was a 1 week contest and it's over but smok's poster/banner says the 16th so I'm not really sure.

Can't say, but it would not be logical since all orders have to be processed individually anyway. Why jam up the shipping department?

The TF-R2 I ordered arrived today, looks like a Kanger type setup where you trap the wire between the screw and the post, as opposed to the holes and screws for the single TF-R1. Hope it doesn't give me as many dry hits as the R1 does.

Try using a vertical coil, I do 6 wraps of 26 gauge 2.4mm in my Subtank.it works a lot better no dry hits

TF-R2 is a Dual configuration, flat trap build deck with 4 massive juice channels.
Vertical may be doable, but not simple by any means.
I might do one in Kanthal, but Ni200 would be risky due to long leg - hot leg.
