That is WARRANTY, not US Distribution. A bunch of the Suppliers now have US warehousing for (slightly) faster service. Some actually stock fairly well.
So I'm trying to understand this
They will give the U.S winners' list to madvapes on the 21st of September.
Gives smok a little over a week to tell MadVapes that they are mailing the prizes out.
MadVapes don't have any in stock as of today,
Even if they did have them in stock, their not going to give away what they paid for.
If they don't have the list of winners, they don't know how many winners,
so they don't know how many to order until they get the list on the 21st.
So after they get the list, that they don't know is coming, Then they will then order what they nned from China.
I'm pretty sure that Smok will simply dispatch XXX kits to Madvapes rather than have Madvapes give away their own retail inventory. And I expect that is why they won't ship out of Madvapes until the 21st, since that's how long it'll take Smok's shipment to the US to arrive at Madvapes. Remember, this ain't Fasttech here, and it ain't ePacket shipping, it'll come across the big pond fairly quick.
But before it arrives, I suspect they'll give the list of US winners to Madvapes so they can start doing USPS labels a bit ahead of time.
As for customs duty, Madvapes won't have to worry about that, they're just shipping out domestic orders, and since it's a "gift" there's no sales tax to collect either, and I imagine they'll use flat rate shipping, so they and Smok will know exactly what Smok owes them for shipping out XX Cloud Maker kits to US winners ahead of time.
I'm pretty sure those XX kits they're going to ship to Madvapes to forward on will be for both the US winners in this thread, and the winners from the main contest, so we'll get them at the same time, more or less, and if all goes well, before the 28th. That's all assuming that large shipment from China doesn't get held up, but I suspect its on its way soon.
If the non-US units actually go out on the 14th, those winners could see them show up quick in some countries (Shenzhen to UK is fairly fast, for instance) or quite slow in others, probably later than most of the US winners will get them.

There are almost 30,000 posts in this thread and almost 1,500 pages. Where the heck do I find the list of winners? More details too? It was stated to stay tuned and apparently we need to keep an close eye on this thread with about 1,500 + posts on average per day.
Unless we do not have a life, it is impossible to keep up.
So, who are the winners? I did scroll through a lot of pages/post but gave up. Did I lose y chances for not being here all the time even though I entered in the beginning?
So after a little talk with my wife (she handles a lot of admistrative stuff between our HK factory and OEM customers. Chances are it could go like this.
SMOK sends units to Madvapes, they use their (SMOK) shipping account and check the box that states they will float the customs cost.
Once Madvapes gets the units and the winners list, they use SMOK's shipping account to send the units to the winners, therefore SMOK floats all costs other than manpower to ship.
I guess we have done it very similar to this when handling issues with our factory and OEM customers.
I just kinda spaced that. Leave it to the wife to remind me of these things... Lol
We use fedex and ups, we can do all the necessary paperwork and customs stuff via the FedEx/ups software.
We usually get our products in about 4-5 days from Shenzhen.... Using fedex express.

awww, precious little things.
I just raised a couple from a week old. They're 2 months now. The most important thing right now is warmth. Make sure you have a heating pad (I set mine to medium) under a towel in a box or something like a light to keep them warm. Hypothermia can kill them at a week old faster than lack of mothers milk. I used a formula I made myself from a recipe found online but they say KMR is best. I used a syringe at first til their mouths were big enough for the nipple on the bottle I got. Good luck with them.
