I tried to get it. My wifey went to get the .22 but he was gone before she got back. It's my fault though for forgetting to close the frickin thing up properly. He just lifted the the sliding door up. I usually fasten it. Chicken soup tonight.

Keep that .22 handy. that fella has a taste now. No doubt will return.

Tonight? Sounds like maybe for a few nights. That's a lot of chicken..................
Well..................unless you have 8 in the house like us.:(

I'd say come to the Fresno area but I think it sucks worse here.

I used to live in Fresno as a kid. The corn from the local agricultural college was always SOO dang good!

But I'd probably go crazy there now, I need a little bit of hills and such! Lol

I lived in Fresno from 1987 until 1990. My parents had retired there and lived there until they passed away. When I first moved there coming from NY, I was struck by (without trying to sound snobbish) how backwards the place was. I was a big city boy moving to small town USA. But the cost of living there was so much cheaper. You could buy a house for under 100k, and you could rent a pretty nice apartment for about 500 or less, depending on the neighborhood. From there, I moved on to Silicon Valley and after being away for several years, was struck by how quickly Fresno grew, with all that expansion north of Herndon Ave. One time my wife and I was visiting my parents around 97 or 98 and we were just out checking out new houses and was shocked that there were several upscale developments where the home prices started in the high 300's and low 400's. Although by comparison, comparable developments in Silicon Valley were starting in the low 700's to 800's.

I'm going to make dog food also. I usually do with the layers that pass of old age. These were in their prime so they'll make a good soup with the best cuts. At least their heads are already off. Raccoon ate one up almost completely but the other two he only took the heads. A delicacy I guess. We had a bear after the horses lately and a cougar after the goats. Busy time right now with predators. No time to fish.

The best was when Fresno decided to change the name of the municipal bus system to Fresno Area Xpress from Fresno Area Rapid Transit, that way the buses could be know as FAX instead of...........you could figure it out.

I remember when I first moved there, FAT didn't even have an indoor baggage claim area. When your plane arrived, they lined up the baggage on the tarmac and you picked it up from there. It wasn't until a year or two later that they finally built a proper terminal. When I lived there, my parents house was about a mile away from Sierra Sky Park, which was the first residential aviation community in the world (where people could fly their planes in and taxi right up to their house and park their plane in their driveway).

IKR. I watch the contests I enter like a hawk well most of the time.

LOL same here. Check them 6-7 times a day even though i know the "Drawing" won't be for another week or whatever the deadline is. then the day of I stalk it. Usually ends up being someone who entered and then a week later stumbles across it saying thanks I forgot i did it :-x:-x:-x Don't know how they can "forget" it. I need to learn to do that because Once I enter I am to excited about it to forget it :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:

Do we need to do an intervention?

g'morning Kurt

no i dont think so, alot of them are small things, like a charger for batteries, the tf-r2 dual rebuildable deck for the tfv4, a velocity clone rda, then i have 3 orders which make up all my diy juice stuff (pg, vg, nic, flavourings, syringes, gloves, dripper bottles, etc.), then i ordered the mvp 3.0 pro and kanger subtank mini, batteries for the x cube, 24 and 26 gauge kanthal, some ni200 wire, cotton. and one is just a small order on some juice from a while back which should be here any day now
aha

The way they portray everything.

I've lived in Alaska for quite a while and what you watch on TV vs reality is a huge difference. They don't air "the quiet days" only the stuff that gets attention.

I'm not going into details because I'm tired and I really don't have the willpower to want to explain how reality TV is nowhere near reality.

And yes, the waives and crabs are all CG, Alaska doesn't have any of that. Just snow and drunks...
Well please, when you have the time , can you explain to me what it is you mean when you say reality TV is not real? See, I'm only 46 and I thought I could believe everything I read and see on the interwebs, and TV. Now you come along and tell me your too tired to tell me there is no Santa Clause? I'm calling BS.
