From what I have seen the biggest complaint is the magnetic battery cover comes off easily.

And the fingerprints on the brushed finish version.

On the plus side, firmware updates keep making the actual functionality of it better, and it's been tested out to be very accurate in VW mode (which speaks well of the components, see attached video). The mod has a LOT of unrealized potential, but even in its current state it's quite decent, especially considering its price point.
