Put some Ketchup on a rag and I wipe it on my Brass and Copper mods and they look brand new again

The problem with brass is it is often made with a sealer on it and even the bras so won't help. I love the patina of brass as it ages ...but with a sealer on it sometimes looks crummy

yes Series does = double voltage, it however doesn't change what I said about rotating the position of the cells due to stress

Series is basically stacking cells.

Go with what you believe.
Tractor rigs commonly use Series batteries which remain in place.
Cells in 12v batteries are series 2v cells that remain stationary.

Stress is Loading,
So long as there is no Contact degradation there is no stress.
