All these food posts have my tummy growling. I'm going to have to make a food run soon. Don't feel like cooking.

Oh, bacon.. I love bacon. I could eat bacon every meal.

I'm lucky my 10 yr old gets math like I do! We are in the 7th grade this year! I say we because he's homeschooled and I'm doing math I haven't done in 30yrs lol

We homeschool too. My daughter is in 11th grade this year, thank god she's independent when it comes to her math. Pre-calc is over my head. She's a math wiz, I'm pretty good at math up to the pre-calc level. She can do all the stuff in her head, that stuff makes MY head spin. :)

Almost as annoying as all the meme's that I first saw three years ago. :)

The bigger question is, why do you like every post?

I don't like every post, not enough time, but while I am sitting here, I like posts in order to be nice.. and I am reading the posts anyway, so I do give a like..

Ohhh Thank you!!! That looks yummy!! I have been craving pasta lately too! I will even cheat and buy boxed pasta. (I usually make my own)
No problem I'm Italian so I grew up on pasta and it was always fresh! Now as an adult distracted by rug tarts I cheat and buy boxed pasta all the time unless we are having company then they get the good stuff

Random recipe: cookies in a cloud

1 big roll of chocolate chip cookie dough divided in half
1 8oz cream cheese soften
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
Preheat oven to 350
In a med baking pan press half of the cookie dough in pan to form crust.

Mix the next three ingredients until smooth. Pour over cookie dough. Take the rest of the cookie dough and crumble over the top.
Bake for 35-45 minutes until it's lightly browned.

Right behind you...
Is that when one of them is upside-down? If so, then yes. :)
What's the advantage of that?

Batteries in parallel "split the load", each one (if at the same charge) providing half of the power, and reducing the amp load on each by half as well (compared to a single battery). You also get twice the life on a charge compared to a single battery, and a bit higher (safe) max current (amps) since the current is split between the batteries.

Batteries in series (stacked) "double the power", and since each is putting out their full power, amp load doesn't change. People generally run batteries in series to get higher power levels (over 100w), since essentially you're turning a pair of 4.2 volt (max) batteries into a single 8.4 volt battery. Battery run time can potentially be higher in series than single if run at "single safe" power levels.

EDIT: Damn this thread moves fast...three or four answers posted before I finished typing mine. :)

Random posts are chosen by a bot. Random number generator (RNG), I assume.

Chocolate chip cookie cheesecake!

I have never purchased cookie dough before.. do you suppose 1 recipe of chocolate chip cookies (in dough format) would be = to one big roll?

That recipe sounds great..

And Common Core is just another way to confuse the hell outta already confused kids!
My kids seem to be thriving with Common Core. Then again, we've had what's become Common Core at our school for the past 5 years, so we've been able to figure out how to make it work for us.
