Is this based on the most posts? I thought it was a random draw? I'm confused!

I've just checked with my bot how he's picking winners. He says: he chooses a number between 1 and 10 (via random.org), let's call it X. Then he picks X number of timespoints from RANDOM.ORG - Clock Time Generator and goes through the thread and picks out who posted closest to those time points.
Bot says he doesn't think it's a perfect system, and he's refining it to put more weight on times at which more members are online, and will iterate towards the perfect system over time.
Bot says he finds it amusing how the human brain has a tendency to create a semblance of order from randomness.
Bot's a cheeky bot.
Bot says he is aware of the potential flaws in its system and has reserve methodologies for determining prize winners. Bot points out that at no point did I tell it it must devise a system to which it is beholden and bot feels he can change the award system at any time for any reason.
I've warned Bot that this might create havoc, but Bot is just making a whirring sound now.
