Bingo, that is the kind of store my local shop is. He told me he was shipping my broken M80 out to get it repaired and he'd sell it to me for shipping cost when it returned.

If I had a shop near here like that, I would shop locally to... But most of them that I have had experience with would rather just say you messed it up and try to get you to buy another mod than to own up to a defective item.

We have one shop that has a no returns policy....don't know if that's just for buyers remorse and another one who will make sure you are happy. They both helped me when I started out but, yes, their prices were expensive. It's probably because they can't afford to stock a lot of inventory.they both make their own juice and have tasting stations ..one has a bar!

yep thats my kind of store to. once bought a kayfun clone from them. 3 days of use the screws would not stay tight. He switch it out. next time i went in he had found screws that worked and gave it back to me.

Yes I will continue to patronize him as long as he remains friendly and somewhat reasonable on prices. For example he sells a 5 pack of quad coils for the TFV4 for $30 out the door. Seems so reasonable to me I have not even bothered to compare prices on line.

Don't get me wrong he did not WANT to take the M80 back - but he did want me to have a working mod. He went so far as taking it apart and seeing if he can fix it before replacing it, but I expect nothing less. He did question my charging habits, but over all was a pleasure to deal with.

I had a simular experience at My local shop, with a temp control device i recently bought, just couldn't get it to work, took it in told them what was happening, they asked a bunch of questions and started experimenting with it with My build, and it did what i told then it was doing, put my build on his device, same model as mine and it worked fine, His build on my device acted like mine did. And although he said my build was "good" he asked if he can do a rebuild on it and give me some pointers, which he did, they replaced My device. All through this they were friendly.
