Top of the mornin to ya!morning
There is still to my knowledge, no winner of the last challenge - or at least no announced winner.
The challenge is to find proof of the first "modern" usage of the word vape in connection to vaping.. if memory serves me, it has to be the first usage after 2006? But you will want to find SmokeyJoe's post about that.. I think it is on page 664 or thereabouts..
And of course random is random as always.. but the above is still in play I am thinking.. at least no winner yet.. which can always mean still in play..
Congratulations all!
And, here's a fun bonus contest. Requires a little work and probably favors people with a little Google-Fu....
I'd like to see if we can find the FIRST use of the word "vape" or "vaping" online in the MEOV (modern era of vaping) (i.e. since 2006).
I suspect it's on ECF, but it's quite possible it was used elsewhere - note: this usage must relate to e-cigs and NOT to any other substance!
When you find something credible, please post and tag me @SmokeyJoe in the post
Have fun, and let's see if we can crowdsource an answer
I'll pick a winner who's answer looks most plausible to me!
I have a Desendents coffee mug with the quote , "Musicians are alot like people "Ok, how 'bout some musician jokes? I promise they're not the same old tired ones (I'm a musician so I've heard them all)...
!
..dunno who said that..
My eyes!!!And the ' nuclear coil to beat all coils coil to light the solar system' coil
You can see it, if you look real close, through a pin hole in a paper plate
