Smoktech Magneto + IGO-W problems

I received my Magneto from vaping Craze today. I did not get the floating pin however.

The mod fires everything I have except for the IGO-W that I bought and built for it specifically. The IGO works fine - I tested it on another mod but it does not fire on the Magneto. Is the floating pin absolutely necessary?

Well from my personal experience, I went through the exact same thing. See on the IGO-W, it has a spring bottom pin to make contact, and with me, that pin got smushed in with my other mods with floating pins, so when I went to try it out on the Magneto, it didn't fire. But it has also been made known the Magneto has a deep recessed pin, but there are certain sites who now sell the floating pin cap for the magneto. Check out VapingCraze.com and youll find it. Make sure the contact on the IGO isn't pushed inside the 510 connector. if it is push down on the center post to see if there is any play in it. If there is meter it before you try and fire it. My bet is the positive post on the igo is recessed. Be careful if you try to pull it. Once they get wobbly you can risk shorts.
