From what I've read elsewhere on the forum is that if your going to do any sub ohm stay away from the V3. The spring can't handle the current.

I have the V2 and the adjustable pin is basically a brass screw and its easy to adjust so your atty sits flush and heavy duty enough to handle the current. That being said I haven't done any sub ohm builds but its nice to know that I can if I decide to try it.

I have a brass V2 that I've completely disassembled on more than one occasion, no springs to be found... and only .26 voltage drop. Interesting.

I have a v2 with the smoke logo. Here is everything taken apart except the top cap. You can see the screwdriver slot in the top cap for adjusting the center pin.
Here are the parts of it. From top left.

1. Tube
2. Negative battery contact
3. Spring
4. Tube side switch contact
5. Magnet
6. Top cap
7. bottom button
8. Bottom cao
9. Bottom cap switch contact
10. Magnet

If everyone is wondering, yes there is a spring in the bottom that is between the negative battery terminal and tube side switch contact. Also I do .4 ohms all day without problems.
