Anyone ever heard of it? I Googled it and came up with nothing. SmokTech's website doesn't have it either. I bought one from a visitor to the local vape shop the other day. That's what he said it was.

I'm not asking to complain about it or anything. I built it earlier this evening and it's wonderful! It was incredibly easy to build too; way easier than my AGA T+. And cheaper. It has a small air hole, which, even though I like a tight draw, I might have to widen just a hair.

But yeah, no complaints whatsoever. It's just something I haven't seen mentioned before and was wondering if anyone else was using them.

yah, they call it the smoketech rsst, there is a few threads on it right now. i just recieved one the other day. so far it is pretty nice and is producing some nice flavor. the only other clone i have is the original aga-t, although i like the ac-9 clone, i do like the original aga-t better. now i also have seen a new aga, and is not built anything like the original one, so i would say the rsst is better then the new aga, but not as good as the older one. i also own the original did, and a real ac-9, and let me tell you the original aga is built really nice, it feels like a quality device.

I haven't seen it going for cheaper than the AGA-T2, and it's got some fairly significant design and build flaws (particularly the boneheaded fill hole placement and the potentially PV-killing pointed center post), but all in all it's not a bad little atty.

It's also got *much* tighter draw than any of my AGA-Ts.

As much as I like supporting the original maker, you cant justify $140 for a small piece of machined steel.
As far as the tank is concerned, even injection molding is a lot cheaper than it used to be.

I received an RSST last Friday, it's a very nice Genesis that performs really well - I wouldn't have been able to afford the price tag for the AC9 anyway.

I got mine for $20. I can't see how the AC9 could really be $120 better. Maybe one day if I have more money than I know what to do with. But from what I hear, there's really no point in buying the more expensive Genesis RBAs besides simply having one in your collection. Pretty much everyone says they all perform the same as long as they're built right. By that I mean built right by the user in the wick and coil, not the manufacturing.

What's wrong with the center post to make it a possible PV killer? And I do agree that the fill hole could be moved opposite the wick hole. There's nothing else there.

That's pretty much the difference between $150 RBAs and $15 RBAs. Collectibility. One can be as good as the other, if set up properly. The quality of the Chinese RAs has gotten better and better.

I have one and it's eh, ok I guess. Not bad, but not great. I think the AGA T2 is much better for the price...

The AGA T2 is tough to beat, for a Chinese RBA. Everything seems to go through a cycle of popularity. Right now it seems to be the RSST. Next week, it'll be something else. I have a real AC9. I'm anxious to compare it, side by side, to an RSST.

Got mine today. The brushed finish is nice and it's got a lot cleaner lines than my clumsy AGA-T2. I actually prefer the top-loading screw with the spring and washer to the AGA's threads-and-nuts affair, and the insulated (and gigantic) wick hole is a nice bonus.

The metal other than the deck is certainly much thinner, making for a significantly lighter unit. The top can get hot quite easily though.

Now to figure out how to convert it to a pyrex tank. :D

I highly doubt there will be pyrex tanks available for these, because of the design of the tank. It's a little more involved than a simple tube.

I thought the same thing until I got mine.

The bottom well is flat, so with either a proper-sized o-ring beneath the glass or a silicone sleeve over it (like the newer AGAs), that seal is pretty easily done. The top already has a silicone seal that sits in a groove -- that groove would easily accommodate a larger (fatter) o-ring for the top seal. The center tube appears to be 1/16" pipe thread, tapered (or some facsimile thereof) which is self-sealing (to an extent). A couple o-rings there would probably serve to seal those well, but it might not need them. Or a tiny bit of drinking-water-safe PTFE thread tape could make those seals.

I think it's only a matter of time and the right size pyrex tube.
