SMOKTech SID Question/Concern "Short" Message

So asked this on 10/7 got no answer. Any Ideas?

So I got my SID about 1 week ago and the one thing I have noticed is that I seem te get "short" going accross the screen 2-3 times a day. Not a mojor issue as I just have to let go and reclick. Just wonderign what might be causing this.
My Set up:
SmokTech SID
Vivi fate tank 1.5ohms
efest 2000mah batteries.

I have a SID but I've never seen "short". I'm betting that "short" doesn't really mean you have a short but that you have a problem. I'm wondering if the center post on your SID has been push down too far. This can happen from over tightening your tank/carto/atty. If it looks like it might be pushed in too far and pulling the center pin on your tank doesn't help, try placing a small earth magnet in the SID connector so that it makes contact with your tank. This won't work if you don't have enough threads to screw the tank down though. I've had to do this with one of my mods and it solved the not firing issue. Your problem may be completely different but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case.

I've seen several complaints about this particular issue. If it's still under warranty, contact your vendor and ask for help (exchange or refund). And I suggest you ask your question in Smoktech forum.
