I can highly recommend the stainless steel telescope. It has a threaded top cap and bottom cap, so if you have a kick, you can adjust it from the top without taking it out. You just change the battery from the switch end and the kick can stay in. There are no threads showing when used with the kick and an 18490 battery. Outstanding!

Edit: Forgot to mention the adjustable centre pin, no more post pulling.

Where did you get the Telescope with the threaded top cap?

EDIT: nevermind - just saw GotVapes has them

I just got a smok telescope in stainless steel from electronic sticks . . .I put the kick in it and it's a killer mod . . .I really like it . . .I would have got an empire but you can never order one . . .what's the deal with that anyway -- do they ever have any for sale or what. . .same thing with the darwin

telescope.jpghere is my problem the stainless tele with 4 top vent holes is measuring 1.8 inches while the GM 6 top vent holes is 1.6. i can barely fit two 18350"s in the gunmetal, and threads show with a 18650. I have no threads showing on the SS tele and can easily stack 18350"s

Interesting, I don't get that. I just screwed down to two AW 18350 batts in both the SS and the GM Telescopes, and they both screw down to cover the threads. My GM has the six holes at the top and my SS has the four holes at the top. Are you using the same brand of 18350s in each? Some 18350 batts can be slightly longer than others.

same batts both bottom tubes are physically different in length with threads showing with the 18650 and barely using two threads with two 18350's in the GM

Hmmm, I got both my GM and SS Tele from GotVapes. They're the same size, where did you get your Telescopes from?

And yeah, EricHill78 is correct. It is unsafe to stack batts. As far as I know, the venting is the only built in protection that is provided in the Telescope mods. Two 18350 batts for 7.4 volts is a good way to fry cartos, too. I like 6 volts and even that seems to burn cartos out quickly.

I ordered this telescope to stack battery's running a RBA on SS wicks and dual coils totaling 1ohm a single battery barely makes any vapor

Well, someone else can probably touch on the rba/dual coils/ohms = vapor thing better than me. All I can say is that my SS and GM Telescopes came from GotVapes and are exactly the same size. The top and bottom tubes are the same, everything. I think the only difference I've noticed is that the GM locking switch on the bottom is a little rougher? I mean, the SS locking switch is very smooth and I can spin it once to open it wide open and spin it once quickly to close it completely. The GM locking switch however, takes several spins to open and close. Not that they're needed. They never fire off standing up under their own weight with the weight of a tank full of juice on top.

I, sincerely, hope that you are you joking. If you are, "barely" making any vapor with a dualie at 1ohm on a single battery, you are doing something wrong. On top of that IF you are stacking with that 1ohm, you are pulling around 49 to 54watts. You are literally playing with fire, and without protection in a very, very bad way.

Yeah they normally call that a pipe bomb waiting to happen.

Looks like they're coming out with various designs on the tubes now. http://i01.i.aliimg.com/img/pb/148/142/545/545142148_814.jpg

That's pretty cool! Wish there was a link to it to explain it a bit better instead of just a picture. I'm trying to figure out if these patterned ones are just the bottom tubes that can be paired with the heads and bottom switches we already have with our present telescopes. A sort of "cosmetic" thing like the changeable tubes for the eGo T Mod. If so...I probably would be all in. Especially if they would come in the gunmetal so it'd match my current telescope! The patterns would sure cut down on the fingerprint problem with the gunmetal finish! hahaha!
