I agree about the patterns cutting down on the fingerprint magnet factor. I also wonder if US vendors will start carrying the patterned tubes separately so that we can just buy those to put on our Telescopes. The photo I linked came from an Alibaba website that I can't find just right now.

If anybody is interested Madvapes has a sale going on the chrome Telescopes right now. I just ordered one and 2 EH 18500 IMR's for about $48 shipped with a giftcard I got for Christmas. Can't beat that. :D

Can't wait to throw my kick in that bad boy! Those EH batteries they sell have some good reviews, one reviewer said he can't tell the difference between those and his AW IMR's, and at ~4-5$ a batt that's not a bad deal at all! And if the batts suck i'm only out like $9 from a giftcard I got anyways, i've been wanting a smoke telescope for a while but i'm low on funds and needed to be able to buy it all with the giftcard so the stainless rebuildable one was out due to shipping. Oh well, still excited to try it out.

Another way to hold it if your pinky gets tired after hours of constant vaping is to rest the button in your palm and if your fingers are long enough, rest it on the top of the bottom tube and just squeeze your fingers a bit to push the button in. It's less awkward with smaller batteries but it can be done with an 18650/kicked-18500 in there as well.

USE the palm of your hand.

So I recommended the telescope to a friend and recently met up with him and tried his Telescope. Although his is only a few weeks newer than mine, his button felt MUCH nicer, I'm convinced its because I'm messy by nature and must have some how gunked up my switch. How do you guys clean the switch mechanism on the Telescope mod? Any advice in cleaning?

Hey I would definitely recommend getting one, I think for the price and the versatility its tough to beat. I do see a lot of other Chinese knockoffs coming around as well (china ggts and others), never hurts to take a look I don't think. These mods are simple, and are in my eyes ultimately just a battery holders. If you're budget oriented and are looking for a decent functional mech mod, this is what I would recommend. Works well, kicks well, and looks decent. I have the chrome one fyi. The one minor problem is I accidentally stepped on mine so the atties and carto's are tilted permanently because of it, so try not to step on it I guess haha.

I might be the most clumsy vaper in the world. I broke the switch on mine within a week of having it. Stood up with it in my lap and BAM, to the hardwood floor. It punched a dent into the bottom of the battery that was in it too, didn't seem to mess it up but I'm not comfortable using that battery anymore.

So yeah: Tough but not indestructible.

What ohm cartomizers should I run on one of these using a 18650 or 18350? Would a 3.0 ohm single coil be to high?

I would reccomend a 2 ohm. The battery comes off the charger at like 4.2 so it starts off good. When the battery dies at like 3.7 its still a decent vape. Don't forget you can always get a kick and use any ohm you like :)

Ok, I have a stardust and vivi nova that I can wrap some coils to use on this mod. I already have like 20-30 3.0 ohm cartos so I will have to wait to reorder some 2.0 ohm cartos. I was looking at the kicker and would get that if I had money lol. Maybe later in the future. The cheapest I have found the telescope is $30.
