I like how the battery comes out easy on the ipv, otherwise I know NOTHING about either of these companies .... 5 bux more for 50 watts, At this point it comes down more to looks (Meh) but more importantly the build quality, which would be more reliable and feel more sturdy, has better connection and conductivity (parts),etc etc.

Any opinions for one vs the other?

SMOKTech XPRO M50 50W Mini Box Mod

I'll take a couple more days and order this weekend once I made up my mind. Feel free to toss in another contender for the same 50-60 price range. The wattage is good at 30, but if the 50 is just as well built (Or maybe better?) Then I am obviously going to go for that,, but not if the smok is a crap quality (In comparison to the IPV or other comparable box mod at this price range)

I'll be using a Infinite Magma rda clone, with probably a 1.2 - 1.8 micro coil, or for whatever reason try doing a subohm build if it seems to be better in the magma, which doesn't seem like the case the more I learn about this.

Would love some feedback from anyone that has some experience with either of these. Until then, Ill be on youtube watching reviews lol

I have the IPV mini and I will be getting the Xpro M50. Not only is it smaller and it runs lower ohm coils, but its 50 watts. You'll want those extra watts when running tanks like the Atlantis

You might was well get the 65 watt version of the mini Xpro, there is firmware for M50 that Smok claims that will allow pass through while charging and upgrade to 65 watts, but I haven't seen it yet. You're better off with M65 which might have those features already.

I had an IPV mini and wasn't a fan. I wanted something with a smaller form factor. I have the M50 and the Cloupor mini and they're both excellent. The m50's quality is great. The battery door is a pain, but I just charge it with a cable.

I didn't like the IPV mini at first, but just from using it, it grew on me. The only thing I can say is it is NOT mini and the finish on it isnt the greatest hence the skin I applied on it.

I'm holding out currently. With a Subtank, IPV mini, lemo, and atlantis, I am content for now. I hate retiring equiptment so quickly but in the "vape game", technology moves so fast its expensive and hard to keep up.

The Watts are probably irrelevant, I look at it as "built in LiPo vs replaceable IMR battery".

The other thing would be the size.

I agree - the replaceable battery on the IPV Mini seals the deal for me. I have the IPV Mini and it's worked great so far with a Kanger Subtank Mini.
