So I think I'm going to Christmas treat myself to a nice box mod (using an MVP 2.0 right now) and I can't decide between either the XPRO BT50 or the Sigelei 100W plus.

I've just started dripping and I'm looking for something that will let me build some dual coils and pump out enough power to give me a decent vape with flavour.

The Sigelei is right at the limit of my what I want to spend (going to throw a kanger subtank into the package too, so I can't really go that much over the $100 mark)

Which one of these would you recommend?

OR

Would one of the H-ANA clones on FT be good enough?

Question about batteries too..... I'll be getting them locally here in Japan, what kind of mAh should I be looking at and is there anything else I should put on my checklist when sourcing the batteries for my new shiny shiny?

Thoughts and advice please folks.

Batteries - Make sure they are high-drain batteries... Or life might not be great.

Batteries - consider still getting an external charger to 'deep cycle' charge your batteries and ensure they stay balanced

BT50 - Bluetooth Vape mod?!? Seems a little odd:
1. Bluetooth eats battery life
2. Why would you need to change settings from your phone, as if you have your mod you can do it there
3. The more it does the more it can do wrong
4. Bluetooth EATS battery life.

Get the Sig100 plus, you can find one under $100.

You will need 2 or 4 batteries. I recommend you get Samsungs 25R. Unless you can find something better for same price, but it has to be unregulated battery, minimum of 20A constant discharge.

Dont forget to get a charger. Nitecore or Efest. Because charging through usb port is just not a good idea.

I have the Sigelei 100w plus and its been great for me.

Goes down to 10 watts if thats an issue -

2 - 18650 batteries - Doesn't charge them but i have a charger that charges all sizes.
510 pin is spring loaded and great - KFL+ clone and lemo drop have fired every time
Battery % jumps around I don't think thats anything probably just getting fluctuations as your using the battery.
I've got 4-5 days out of it - Though Im a lower user than most.

Both are good devices. I've used the Sigelei and own the BT 50. First of all, the Bluetooth bit is a cute gimmick, but that's all it really is. It is off by default so no big hit on battery life. And even on, it does not impact battery life as I expected (maybe 10% less battery life). The built-in charging is phenomenal though, specially coupled with high c rating cells. There is a bit of button rattle, as they are metal buttons in a metal enclosure. I have run it from 0.2 to 2.4 so far and it has worked brilliantly each time.

But the Sigelei is a great device, but thought i would let you know a little more about the BT 50.

I have vaped on quite a few box mods and my recommendation is the ipv3. I paid $98 for mine on ebay and it is authentic. it supports 2 18650 batteries and I get about 2 days of vaping out of it if im at work, running errands, etc.

I would go with the highest mah you can find but you should ALWAYS be looking for 30 amp or higher batteries if you plan on going over 30-50 watts. I use MXJO and efest batteries. I feel they perform as good as the sony vtc series and they're half the price.

OK, so I've ordered the Sigelei from fasttech.

I've tried searching Amazon.jp for decent batteries (can't get hold of Samsung batteries here)

I've found some panasonic made batteries, will these be OK

I'll post the amazon.com link (in English instead of Japanese)

Amazon.com: Two Panasonic NCR18650B 3.7V 3400mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries QTY 2: Electronics

also found these too
Amazon.com: 2 Efest Purple IMR 18650 35A 2500mAh 3.7v Rechargeable Flat Top Batteries: Electronics

should either of these be OK?
