Hello folks,

Question for you. Fist tank through Penelope was fantastic, ran out of juice, rinsed off, dry burned for a quick minute and refilled tank. Not getting any flavor more of a smoky flavor, but not quite burnt.

Any suggestions? Did I perhaps not dry burn long enough or let Penny dry out long enough?
When I open up the juice flow it's even worse, nasty, smoky, wood burning taste.

Thanks!
Juanita

JCB you don't need to rince out the Pene tank each time you re-fill and dry burn unless you're changing juice. I suspect you're not getting proper wicking on the silica because your wick is still somewhat wet with water from the rinse. Next time you do this make sure your dry burn is enough (coil glowing completely) and try to dry your silica wick. Then once your dry burn is finished and your coil looks clean then really soak your wick with juice BEFORE you attach the mouthpiece and fill the tank.

CaptSteve,

Thank you. I just changed juice again and re wrapped new wick. Ohms are @ 1.6; still no real flavor, although not as "smoky" as before. This juice is old, could that be reason no real flavor? Is there a way to dry burn the coil again to make sure glowing red without dumping juice, or would you suggest just dumping and starting with another juice? All are old unfortunately--waiting for juice delivery...

Update: think I fixed it. Just went ahead and dumped juice. Notice wire not completely under wick, made some adjustments, dry burned till I got red coils and added juice. Significant improvement which I'm sure will get better once infer some decent juice and get better @ wrapping wick! Thanks for the help!
