Does anyone actually get any tobacco out of this? I can't taste the slightest hint of tobacco, nice citrusy with a hint of vanilla and a bit of nutmeg/eggnog on the exhale. Is Turkish this untobaccoy? What would be the next step up in the halo line in terms of a little bit more tobacco flavor?

Southern Classic, like Voodoo is a "light" tobacco. Very light, in the background. Turkish has more of a tobacco presence, same with Freedom and Torque56, etc.

Jef is spot on. Perhaps my story will help you. It took me some trial and error and the evolution (think return) of my taste buds to find the best "tobacco" vape when I wake up and reach vertical. Today my AM vape is Tribeca which is a strong in your face tobacco blast which I love some mornings. Other mornings I love SC. I've concluded that my switching between these two yummy vapes is to a large degree related to what I did the day before: (workout/recovery), big dinner/light dinner the night before, my body rhythms, tired or peppy when I wake up, the weather, and hydration.

When the sun sets and I've had my dinner or late lunch my sweet tooth kicks in so I have no desire for Tribeca but on occasion I still vape SC because that Madagascar Vanilla/booze/bourbon tone shows up in a more pronounced manner and is absolutely unique and yummy.

I got a free sample last week when ordering a replacement bottle of Tribeca. Just read through this thread, and can only recall a few people saying it reminded them of Southern Comfort. Soco is my favorite alcohol to drink, and while its not spot on, it's damn close. The description made me think that's what Halo was going for. Regardless, it's a keeper!

Unfortunately, for one reason or another, my G6 and mini tanks just aren't doing it for me anymore. So last night, I ordered a 1300mah Triton battery, tank, and USB adaptor. Can't wait for my SC sample!

Southern comfort with a shot of coke is what it reminds me of initially.

So Boys and Girls :) Sometimes it easier to just say "Yes Honey, I can fix the next bottle of the yummy SC so it's doesn't smell up the kitchen when we crack the seal..."

Ultrasonic_HALO.jpg

"While were at it Honey...we might as well plop plop the entire new shipment." I certainly don't recommend this Ultrasonic Cleaner expenditure for everyone but given my options, what choice did I have! Ka Ching!

In case you wonder, what this does is accelerate the steeping process for those juices that need it. Very popular in the ECF DIY forum where folks are creating juice from scratch. Depending on the juice, you let them sit in the UC for anywhere from 1 hour to around 4 hours. Roughly, according to the DIY geeks this is about 5 days of steeping and 80% of maturity. A huge deal if your trying to mix a juice and need to accurately evaluate the taste quickly or in my case make my SA happy.

I can confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that about 2 hours in the UC for SC performed it's magic and I confirmed this in my side by side vape (old juice and new juice) this AM.

HTH
