I had both Southern Classic and Voodoo with me in my Halo Tritons when I went to work with me today.

Damn, but SC really hit the spot on my first break! And it tasted slightly different than before, like when I had been vaping something else for a while as I sat at home. Coming from it "fresh," without having vaped anything in a few hours -- damn, but it was delicious!

It's still very different that anything else I vape, even Voodoo. But it really hit the spot and satisfied me on my break, and later on my lunch.

So now, I give it full 5 star marks!

I can relate to this. My first break occurs 3 hours after I clock in and I cannot vape until then. Aside from an overnight sleep, I can't go that long without vaping at home.

By the time I get my breaks I have a pretty strong craving for a vape. It's a great way to find out for sure what I really think of a particular flavor. If it really hits the spot at break time then I know it's a keeper. It's the tell tale sign of whether I like a blend or love it.

I just got my sample of Southern Classic on Thursday and did not take it to work on Friday. I plan to sometime this week though. I'm really enjoying it here at home but I can't wait to see how it satisfies me after 3 hours of downtime.

It's about a week later now, and I don't know if it's just steeping or if it's just because I've grown used to it, but it is much smoother now and is really nice.

Southern Classic is definitely a keeper

After a proper "airing out" and some steep time, I too am really liking Southern Classic. It's another solid winner in the making from the Halo folks. It really has a unique interplay of flavor notes that are quite enjoyable once it has mellowed out a bit.

Halo is sure cranking out some good stuff!

I let my sample steep, bottle open overnight, closed to give it a solid shake, and it's still the same.

However, I like it.

It's a spectacularly difficult flavor to describe. It's like a bourbon, with a miniature touch of menthol. It's just on the edge of sweet.

Nicely done. I'll pickup a 30 mL bottle with my next order. It might not be my new ADV, but worthy of being in my rotation.
(for reference: my ADV is Tribeca @6 mg).

Wow, either good taste buds or good imagination!
I'm still on generic 'citrus' and it's a bite to overpowering for me, course my rotation is tobacco1,tobacco2,tobacco3...., you get the idea
The clove 'settled down' nicely, I like that part, the old lady perfume stink has subsided
So, still steeping, a bit too sweet for me at this point,if the citrus moves a little more to the background then this will be fantastic for me
White wine?? really??? Well, maybe a cheap, fruity, white wine!

Aside from violent shaking, I removed the dripper tip from the sampler bottle, and let it sit out for more than a day.

Well, even the citrus has tamed down for me, like the clove did previously. It's not as powerfully tangy as it was at first. So time and steeping does mellow Southern Classic nicely.

It's just a beast at first

I came across this tip, from AIV (a reputable juice maker):

Steeping in open air, will take care of fruity acidic flavoring. Everything else just needs shaking, or warming up (i.e. out in the sun).

Well...I have a guess that the "citrus" is not like biting into an orange for some and tasting the sweetness thing. I think it might be a "zest" which has joined/bound/dances with the Bourbon vanilla which I previously talked about in this thread. If my guess is correct it's kinda like what we used to call a "kicker" for the booze thing.

hey @BoxCarMike - Please try the Jacuzzi bath three times. I'm guessing but I think your bottle got a little sun burn in our Vegas sunlight oven In essence you wacked the love juice temporarily. I can fix your bottle if you want lol but I can't post it on the Halo Forum.

So...this early AM I wanted to try yet another experiment. LOL I awake, reach vertical, drink coffee and vape Tribeca straight up at 18MG. I hydrate BUT I have not had anything to eat. About 1.5 hours of Tribeca joy. Then I go to my stash to see how Southern Classic smells after about 5 days. Shake shake and it's smoothed out VERY nicely. Next I top off (about 50%) my "glass" delivery device and switch to Southern Classic @18 MG. WOW! The bourbon/booze/Madagascar vanilla has gone into hibernation and is barely detectable along with the "zest". It's just pure heaven and quite different than a new vape session after a big dinner (last night) where the booze thing is much more prominent and quite enjoyable.

So...why? I've been scratching my head but I think the combo of a smoother SC plus priming my taste buds with big blasts of Tribeca BEFORE SC may be the answer. I had previously just started my day with SC. I promise not to obsess over it but has anyone else experienced this?

I got a sample of this with an order of Tribeccca since I am hooked on that stuff now, (Thanks Cinder Ella!)...and I did not think I would like it by the smell.

It was almost too sweet smelling, I couldnt put my finger on it.

Well I opened it up for about 24 hours, and then shook it and stored it in the drawer. It has been a week, and then today I tried it, I can't believe how delicious it is!

I can't even describe what the crisp sweet tang it is, but wow it is so yummy. Def tobacco flavor, but its got a zip! For those who have not liked it right off, give it a chance later, or pm me and I can send my address.
