I have a cheap $30 device to hold me until i get a "higher tech" device. Anyway, the hits that I am getting are a little on the harsher side, when i take bigger hits it makes me cough. Soo...

Is it the juice? I have heard that the PG/VG percentage has to do with smoother hits. I have also heard that it only has to do with flavor/vapor amount. As of right now, i picked up somee juice from my local gas station, i aam only assuming it is 50/50.

Is it the device? Is the cheaper device causing the hits to be harsh?

Thanks :smokie::thumb:

It could be the juice. It could be the topper/clearomizer. What type of clearomizer are you using? CE4? Protank? Kanger T3? If you don't know take a pic and upload it here.

It could be the way you're hitting it. I take a hit into my mouth, breathe through my nose, exhale through my nose. This may take some getting use to but it keeps me from taking a direct lung hit and irritating the back of my throat.

Proceed to the nearest friendly vapory shop and try out different equipment and juices. All are not created equally.

Stay away from the urge to purchase from gas stations as they generally carry crap.

The money you waste may be your own.

Don't get discouraged and Good Luck!

If it's your first time vaping, then it can feel harsh on your throat at first. That goes away after a few days. I've had heavy smokers cough even from small vapes when they inhale to their lungs. It takes some getting used to. I've read that the droplets from the vapor are larger than smoke particles, so when it hits your lungs, it can make you cough.

^^^This! I gave a 80 year old guy a go on my VTR the other day, lowest setting, take it easy man it's different from smoking! "Son, i've been smoking for 68 years, i'll be fine". Thought he was gonna cough his lungs up. Told me he hasn't coughed like that since he first tried smoking all those years ago.

Yep! Then they looked at me like I was pretty badass for just vaping away with a smile. Held my head a little higher that day, I did.
