Smoov cartos and the volt...

Today I went to a local "brick and mortar" that carries some PV supplies. Not many, mind you, but a few. I purchased some smoov blank cartos to use with my volt. I had heard that these two products were identical, just different branding for retail. I filled the cart with some generic e-juice I purchased there, hoping for a new, tasty vape. Much to my chagrin, it produced VERY little vapor or taste. My question is: are the smoov cartos any different than the volts, or did I just get crappy juice? Thanks!

Crappy juice might taste lousy but should still have vapor and (bad) taste. More likely you
have cartos at two very different resistance. If the the difference is at little as one ohm
resistance, the vapor production would drop like a stone.

If you have a meter, check the resistance of each...if you don't have a meter look around
Radio Shack or Harbor Freight for a cheap one. They are an invaluable tool for vaping.

in your opinion, what is the difference between vertical and horizontal coils? Is one more efficient or better? I finally got the smoov carto working, but there is one batt that doesn't like it for some reason....

The horizontal coils give a bit cooler vapor, (coil is further from your lips) and tend to burn the filler less, the vertical give a warmer vape, a bit more cig like but can burn the filler if not kept damp.

Everyone has their favorites, try a box of each and see which you like better with the juices you are using.

Djp sir just to add the vertical coils do better with higher voltage (gen 1 kr808's) than with the lower voltage volt batts (3.6v regulated gen 2). Horizontal coil cartos do much better with the lower voltage (too high and juice burning takes place).

Thank you, sir! That explains why I prefer the Volt carts to the Smoov carts, even though both will function and get me through! Much appreciated!

Are you certain, and if so, where can I see that... I just watched a revue of the smoov and I believe it said the smoov has a horizontal coil.

Honestly forgot where i heard that from actually. I believe it was a month or so that I learned about this. Might have been jumbled with another kit but I'm pretty sure it was the smoov.

Yeah, I just verified that... I purchased a Smoov today... it's a really outstanding, out on the town kind of cig-a-like PV... loving it so far.
