SMY 260 Possible to replace 510 threading?

I just purchased the SMY 260 mod yesterday and the only flaw that I have read is that the 510 threading is not spring loaded, I have found a spring loaded replacement part (from fatdaddy) and was wondering if it is possible to replace the adjustable threading with a spring loaded threading on the SMY 260? I also recently purchased my first rda and RTA (listed below, from wetvapes) along with my coil building tools and all of the items for my first attempt at making my own ejuice (Bull City Vapor and Ecigexpress). All of the information and research I did before making these purchases was from ECF, and I wanted to say "HI" as a new member along with saying "Thank you" for all of the tool and info you provided me to make an informed decision. Any advice/tips/or tricks on my new toys is much appreciated, but i'm really curious about replacing the 510 threading on the SMY 260.

I'm sure it can be but I don't know if it is threaded or pressed, you'll have to take it apart to see. Don't forget varitube I have both FDs and VTs. Plus if you have to drill and tap they sell the drill and tap at VT as well. If I remember right the FD is 10x1mm and the VT is 10x.5mm.

Also I prefer the adjustable to the spring loaded for low ohm builds, it makes a lot better contact you just have to set it. So you might consider leaving it.
