Unfortunately my Buzz Pro button didn’t make 15 days alive…

It just snapped from the unit:

Don’t really know how it happen and I was lucky to find the poor button in the floor after trying to hit the empty space.

I suspect a lateral force snap it from the unit coming from my pocket trousers.

Obviously the natural way to solve this would be to send my unit to notcigs but that isn’t much of a good option for me as I live in Lisbon and imported this device: 10 days to go plus USA customs; another 10 days to Lisbon plus Portuguese customs (and another fee? Lol).

So I’m trying to solve this at home:

So far I used a pen to make the buzz click and now achieved to put the button in place (not glued) with some tape (this works but I’m afraid it’s not a durable solution).

I just got lucky and found a plastic piece, shaped like a tack, that looked like a button and double back taped it in place. It's still working fine. Mike will fix it for you.

Send it in we will fix it , this last order of switches seem to have some bad parts in them ! we never had this happen before this last batch .

He's right because I have a beta original and an original Buzz that the buttons still work flawlessly on. I would have sent mine in for a new button but I didn't want to add to their workload and it works good this way.

Thanks 5card!
I'll search for a plastic or rubber button that fits right. So far the tape is working ok and I'm liking it better than the original button! it looks slick and clicks fine. I'm only afraid that it somehow detaches from the unit.
I can see room for improvement here: that recessed part of the tube asks for a larger button.

Mike I'm not going to send the Buzz, at least for the time being. Only if it really stops working I will consider it and it vapes great so far with the tape.
It can take as much as 2 months at mail and custom and I already paid $40 at portuguese customs and waited 1 month. It's a risk people have to take importing this kind of devices. I rather prefer to save money and buy the IPro from liberty-fliths when they have it.

Thanks.
Here it is, vaping great.
The click works just fine the rubber button is the weak link but the tape does a good job.

I'll wait for some other time to send it to notcigs, maybe waiting for next failure ;)

Man, that sucks bad. Couldn't live without a BP for a couple of days let alone a month or so. I really love that little button. Clicky but not to clicky if you know what I mean and rated for a like a million presses! Wonder how many presses that other MODs buttons are rated for....

you know the one --- click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, whew!, almost at the right voltage, click, click, click, click, click.
