Yeah, it's funny how nobody smells anything until they see the vapor.
Both of the guys in my office are cool with it though, they are ex-smokers and said it doesn't bother them at all. I don't vaporize in front of my clients, just in between sessions I get a puff or two. This has saved a lot of time normally spent walking out back or across the parking lot to have a smoke in the rain and cold. Some people have asked me to blow the vapor so they could see if it smelled and said it had a little scent for a second then was gone.

As people have said, the smell really isn't an issue unless someone is right by you when you exhale a big drag of vapor.
I'll always take my 901 whenever i get to go shopping with the wife. While she's browsing the aisles i'll sneak a few drags here and there. Especially now since i have a black 901 with the blue LED.

Any idea if you can sneak a vape at work without the telltale scent betraying you?

:sneaky:

the smell will not give you away, lol, just don't pick one that looks like a cigarette - perception is reality, and if they perceive it looks like a cigarette then to them it must be a cigarette - if it's black with a blue or green led, then it must not be a cigarette cause it don't look like one

I was surprised at how easy it was to to vape at work today. One of my coworkers did detect a smell and said it was rather pleasant. Had I not shown him what I was doing he would have smelled nothing at all.

The funny thing is, I chose the pen style e-cig that looks like...well...a pen. So even when I showed a couple people what I was doing, they still didn't associate it with cigarettes. One lady thought it was a novelty device to trick people into thinking you were smoking. :|

Of course I replied, "That's exactly what it is."

I remarked yesterday on how easy it was for me to vape at work, but this morning I think I'd better use more caution.

Up til yesterday I was using samples. This morning I resumed vaping one of the new menthol-hi cartridges I received in the mail. So I'm ironing my kid's clothes, stopped...sipped a bit of coffee...took a nice puff from my "pen"...resumed ironing.

Glanced over at the tv and what should I see but a cloud of vapor lingering where I'd previously stood. This is the first time I've seen vapors not quickly dissipate! I can just imagine me going to work today, sneaking a puff and creating a tell-tale cloud above my head for everyone to see. :(

I want to explain that as they're escorting me from the building...!

Why not explain to your managers that your e-cig is a kind of nicotine replacement therapy that is helping you to give up smoking and explain that it isn't smoke but basicaly steam. ....the fact is there are 'no' laws against vaping and they have no real reason to disallow you to do it.

i notice this every night if there are no fans running.
that lingering cloud will last quite awhile in the dim blue tv light.
i don't notice it any other time though.

Our living room has some large windows on the west side and the couch i use is in front of it. Now it has become lighter in the evenings i have noticed that i can see my vapor hanging in the air for almost a minute or so. My 16 year old stepson came in the room, looked at me and said "wow it looks real smokey...... sorry vaporey over there!"

I really don't see too much in our office lights and we don't have any windows where i am.
I am using a 50/50 VG/PG mix though. The vg does create a thicker vapor.
