Snuff in Canada

Where do you buy the snuff? I've tried Northerner.com, but they don't respond to emails. It would be better shipped from within Canada. The payment methods I can use are Paypal and Interac(bank transfer).

The Omega also looks pretty good, so if anyone reputable is trying to sell one(or any other good mod for that matter) just let me know.

Yep, I have checked that forum and snuson.com, but none of it was helpful. I don't have a credit card to order, only Paypal and Interac, and possibly bank transfer or Western Union.

Snuff is just regular old chew, skoal for example that you can get at any gas station, is snuff.

snus you can order online from buysnus.com, they are legit. You may or may not get hit with the tax, or they may or may not hold it on you. It’s much like e-cigs..

In Canada snus is sold under DuMarier name in Ottawa and Edmonton, but that is it.

Go south of the boarder and there is new Marlboro and Camel snus. I'll recommend Marlboro spearmint if mint is your thing, but the rich tastes like Gym Socks.

The snuff I'm talking about is powdered snorting tobacco. Snus seems pretty good too. In any case I did find a pre-paid card, but the fees aren't that good. They take Interac as payment.

I would still much rather buy some from someone at a profit if anyone has an excess of snuff, so I'll wait until tomorrow to buy this card if there are no sellers.

Confusing eh? Same name for 2 things, snuff.. Careful who you buy from doesn't make the same mistake I did. I doubt you'd want to snuff the snuff I was talking about LOL why they call they chew that is beyond me.

Careful with those pre-paid credit cards. Since you will be buying out of country make sure you can use them to purchase in another currency, and if you can they don't charge some ridiculous fee.

You might want to ask the seller if they will take Western Union, you can send the right from your bank, in the currency the seller wants.

The other thing to know is it's a total crap shoot when customs charges you tax on the tobacco, I've heard that it can turn a $5 tin into $20 tin. Search the forums at snuson.com for some of the stories about the tax issue.

You were right about the customs charges but only one of three parcels ordered ended up getting hit with duties. Unfortunately the card I mentioned takes a while to get. I opted for a Vanilla Pre-Paid MasterCard from Shopper's Drug Mart instead, a 100$ card for about a 6$ fee.

Success/Failure Info:

325g of snuff from northerner.com, of which 275g passed duty free. Still waiting for the out-of-stock 50g.
11 tins of snus from Buysnus.com, of which 6 tins passed duty free. They tried to charge 56.xx for the other five tins, which I requested be returned to customs.

Shipping times:
Northerner.com = 5 days
Buysnus.com = 7 days

Customs hits: 1 of 3
*410.6 grams passed
*113 grams tariffed.

410.6 grams ended up costing 91.15CAD, a 35% savings over 7.50/pack cigs, with a possibility of 50 more grams arriving duty free. Very good deal overall.

How much did they charge you for the tins they cought? I'd like to get my hands on some snus, but I afraid that I'll get hit.

They tried to charge $56.xx for those five. I read somewhere that the best way is to order from a store that will ship them five at a time. Northerner.com and Buysnus.com both do this. For as long as you order three rolls(30 cans) or less they will ship the cans in multiples of five using envelopes.

The tins that got the $56.xx duty fee only actually cost $12.78.
