snuscentral vs getsnus

Hey everyone, snus newbie here. I'm looking for some feedback about the differences in ordering from these websites. My apologies if this has been covered on a different thread and I missed it.

I've placed orders from both and noticed a few things:

The first snus order I placed was from Getsnus. They appear to have a warehouse in Pennsylvania that they ship from. My order arrived within 3 days and everything was fine.

The second order was from Snuscentral. It only took a week to receive the order, but when it arrived the bag had been opened and a few of the cans themselves appear to have been opened as well. I noticed that shipment came directly from Sweden and went through customs and I'm sure that's the reason the package had been opened and inspected. Also, I ordered 30 cans, did the large size of the order possibly have something to do with this?

So my question is this: Why would anyone in the U.S. want to order from snuscentral and have to deal with their package going through customs, when they can just order from getsnus and get their shipment from a warehouse in the U.S. and get it quicker? I'm sure there's a good reason because snuscentral seems to be pretty popular with the users posting here.

Also, please don't get the wrong idea. I'm not trying to bash snuscentral at all. They seem to be a fine company with great customer service, and I've learned quite a bit by reading the forum on their website. Also, I may be asking some naive questions and for that I apologize. I'm just looking for some honest feedback to help satisfy my curiosity.

I'm thinking about placing another order to stock up even more before PACT kicks in and would really appreciate any suggestions or feedback. Thanks!

I have ordered from snuscentral with no problems before. However I ordered from them because they carried brands that getsnus did not before northerner bought them out. Customs might be getting tougher with pact starting soon. I would be mad if I got my order and cans were opened. I would contact snuscentral to see if they would do something about it.

Hi Brokedown91, Glad to hear you got your 1st order. I order from both places, but my last two orders have been from snuscentral only because getsnus didn't carry the LD Black that I wanted and another one. It arrived in good shape.

Sorry to hear your package was in bad shape. I've had a few that I wondered how they held together and made it, but it could be any just coming through customs and the post office...not necessary snuscentral's. My worst was from Northerner that lost a tin of Oliver Twists - just glad the tear wasn't bigger or I could have lost more. But, the majority haven't been a big problem.
