Way to go on making the switch, and hello :)

yep i was in your place almost 4 weeks ago. find a few flavors you like just to give you a little variety. couidnt believe how easy it was. good luck

Thanks guys! Just started with an eRoll and about 7 tobacco flavors from Dekang. I'm pretty impressed for such a low budget set up. I figured the Dekang stuff would be pretty bad from what I had read. Yeah, I'm sure it's not the best but it's better than the stinkies.

Thanks! Smoked for years and never really tried to quit before. Can't believe it's been so easy. Now if I can just start to ramp down the nicotine a bit...I'm sure that's the real test.

One step at a time........make sure you are done with the cigs first. Use as strong of a juice as you need, imho. THEN, you can start ramping down the nicotine gradually. (I have weaned myself completely off of nic by gradually cutting it down.)

ha, yeah, that's my problem. I really don't need another hobby. It was already at that point before I made my first purchase though. Probably spent 20 hours or so of research the last couple of weeks. I'm hoping to get by with the eRoll and maybe an epipe for around the house or whatever. We'll see how that goes.

Yes ramp down the nicotine; actually whats probably going to happen is gradually vaping is going to creep up on you and you'll end up doing more vapetime than you used to spend smoketime; there's nothing to light, and ecig doesn't 'go out'; once that happens you have to drop the nicotine anyway.

if possible try to setup so you have a high nicotine thingy and a regular/low nicotine one for normal usage, and when you ever get a craving just take a puff or two of the high nic one and go back to regular.

Wow, this board moves fast! Thanks everyone and yeah, not cutting the nic down yet. I have no delusions there. It will take some time to kick that habit.
